ETSU Storytelling Institutes have been part of East Tennessee State University’s Storytelling Graduate Program offerings since 1992. The 3-5 day Master Classes feature many of the most adept and beloved performers and teachers of storytelling arts in the contemporary world--providing opportunities to study with artists at the summit of their craft in the beautiful environs of the Southern Appalachian Mountains.
Institutes are offered either for one hour of graduate credit or on a non-credit basis. Fees vary depending on the option you choose. Out of state residents may receive in-state tuition through membership in the National Storytelling Network. Check the NSN website at http://www.storynet.org/membership/etsu.html
