Celebrating 20 years of excellence in physical therapy education in beautiful East Tennessee!!!
The Physical Therapy Department is housed in Ed Allen Hall (Building # 2) on the grounds of the Quillen College of Medicine/Veterans Affairs Medical Center, a federal installation in Mountain Home, TN - a town within the town of Johnson City! And it is just across the street from the main ETSU campus.
The ETSU Physical Therapy Department has had a 100% pass rate for the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) and 100% employment rate for all recent graduates of our program.

ETSU's Physical Therapy program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE). The program is fully accredited through 2013; the next site visit will be October 2012.
Our mission is to integrate teaching, research, and service to prepare students as autonomous practitioners of physical therapy; foster faculty and student scholarship for enhancing evidence-based physical therapy practice; and provide faculty consultation and services for the communities we serve.
