Based at The Timbers of Eureka, the department oversees and maintains over 164 acres of park land featuring a myriad of different amenities and programs.
The 164+ acres of park and public land includes nine parks, featuring trails, playgrounds, tennis, basketball, sand volleyball and handball courts, baseball, football and soccer fields, a stocked lake, Disc golf course and a Community Center.
The Parks and Recreation Department offers programs for all ages including adult sports, martial arts, fitness classes, camps, senior lunches and bus trips, special events, youth education classes and much more!
Most programs are open to Eureka residents and non-residents from the surrounding St. Louis area as well as neighboring Jefferson County and Franklin County.
