Ewers Mens Store Iowa City

I have been going to Ewers for over 30 years. I love this store because it is literally the last classic mens clothing store in Iowa City!! Bob is wonderful and he always makes you feel special when you walk in the store. Quality threads for the hipster or the regular guy who just wants to look respectable and comfortable. Thank you for being there for us.

A HUGE thanks to Bob, owner of Ewer's! He was absolutely wonderful helping us find a complete ensemble for an event in New York City. We were shopping on Friday and flying out Monday. My husband needed EVERYTHING - shirt, pant, jacket, belt and shoes. Bob helped us choose the perfect look AND was able to hem the pant and press everything by the next day. After wandering around Von Maur aimlessly with not a soul to help us, Bob was heaven sent! You just don't find that kind of personal touch and service these days.

HUGE shout out to Bob! Right away the moment I stepped inside and mentioned I needed fittings for a wedding he had a tape measure in hand ready to go! His promptness, friendless, and knowledge let me know I was in the right hands! Took all my measurements for a wedding in under 5 mins! Someone better give this man a raise! Thanks so much Bob!

If you’re thinking about renting a suit call Bob. He is the real deal and he will save you money. I’m not the type of guy that would wear a suit on a daily basis and he helped me immensely .

They did me a huge favor in a matter of 3 hours. Had my suit for a wedding and it where I had purchased I felt like they tailored it to how they thought it would look best but I came here he listened to me to the T!!! I love the alterations they have done. Don't know that I will ever go anywhere else!!!

Went with my father to get my first blazer here, staff was extremely helpful, patient, and in good spirits throughout the whole process. I'm a short stocky guy so my fit is a very difficult one but the tailoring was done perfectly. Extremely happy with the store, the service, and the product!

I brought in an inexpensive shirt that I purchased elsewhere to have some tailoring done. The staff was extremely efficient and helpful. He made sure that I was happy with the fit and happily adjusted it when I requested changes. The two reviews preceding mine do not accurately reflect the store.
