Ezell's Catfish Cabin

On a business trip, pulled off the interstate for lunch. This place was awesome. Eat here! Great service and food was tasty.

First time guest. Definitely not a pleasant experience. I ordered the smoked wings, fried pickles, and French fries. The pickles were good. The wings were horrible, they were cooked so hard and over done that you could barely tell it was chicken anymore. The fries were cold and stale. The servers are young and rude. Very nonchalant attitude. Too busy on their phones to even check us out. Pricing is extremely too high for the poor service and low quality food that was received.

The food was Great & plenty in portions. We had plenty to bring home for leftovers. We were very satisfied with out waitress & service too! We would highly recommend this restaurant to our family & friends. We also eat at the location in Nashville often too. Although we haven't been recently. We are glad to have one here in our town now.

We took the in laws out to eat here. Manager Amy was our waitress. She was Amazing. Ask for her. She is very polite. The food was great. All you can eat coleslaw. Catfish was fresh .we drove 45 minutes and we do not regret it. The place was very clean.

We ate here on 12/26/13 first timefor lunch and the food was awesome! The customer service was excellent. Our waiter said he had only started two weeks ago but helped in anyway he could and gave better service than we have had in a long time. The hushpuppies and fried mushrooms are to die for!!!! We will definitely be going back.

15 minutes before anyone came to take drink order. 45 minutes before we were served. We were just sliding out of booth to go next door to Applebees when our meals were brought. My fried flounder was equivalent to old dried up, curled at the edges shoe leather and totally tasteless. Sweet potato fries were on the cool side of warm, however were good. Same with fried green tomatoes...barely warm, but tender and very good. Husband's hamburger steak was cool and the gravy was congealed, though he said it had a pretty good flavor. Hush puppies were excellent. This is pretty much the same experience we've had the few times we've been there. This is last time we give them a chance.

First off the customer service is excellent, they serve you hush puppies and coleslaw when you get in the like they are chips and dip, a quart mason Jar for your drink. I had stuffed crab and Cajun rice it was delicious my fiancé had blackened catfish which I helped myself to a bit of and and that was good he had a side of loaded cheese grits. Best meal I had in days. Worth the price.

This place was soooo tasty! We were in Bessemer last week to cheer on our team in the Senior Games and this gem was within walking distance of our hotel. The fried shrimp was amazing, sweet potato casserole was delicious, and the hush puppies were to die for! Service was great too, considering they've only been open for a couple of weeks. Jessica is the best server. ; I will DEFINITELY go out of my way to eat there again and bully all of my traveling friends to end up there too!

Found this place today. Are in the area for the Senior Games in Birmingham. Delicious shrimp and grits. Hush puppies are out of this world. Prompt and very efficient service...with a big southern smile. Very clean. Wish them much success in their venture. A great place to eat.

Oh it was excellent!!! All the original recipes! Great service! The new owner is an awesome sweet guy! The catfish is sooo good! The smoked wings and buffalo shrimp, yum they are to die for! Just how it's suppose to be!
