I've never used their services before, but I delivered a catering order to that place last summer from Panera, which was just 0.2 miles away from them. They tipped me slightly over $100. I'm not gonna lie, I had to take a break to cry. They really made my week that day. That showed the staff's true character - loving and caring! I knew right there then and now that all the animals that are under their care are in excellent hands!
Fairview has always been great with our cats. Great care. Prices are fair too. They don't rob you like other vets. The front desk people are very nice and considerate of emergency situations.
My wife and I had a really good experience with our new veterinarian Dr. Amy Rennie. The old one who is no longer at this practice was a 1 star rating seemed to want to talk us into expensive products and treatments and this one just took excellent hands-on care of our cat during the course of a regular appointment. She was comforting to the cat, knowledgeable, caring and able to inform us in a way that made us feel good about how to care for the aging feline member of our family.
We have a lot of pets of different ages and stages in their lives so we're there fairly regularly, and everyone at Fairview from the reception staff, vet techs, management staff, and veterinarians have been so kind, helpful, understanding, and compassionate with not only our pets, but with us. They really get to know you and your pets. The care and compassion shown in particular by Dr. Rodriguez and Therese when we recently lost two of our dogs was more appreciated than they will ever know. Just a really terrific staff and wonderful care provided for our animals.
My new patient appointment was great! Everyone was great and the office was clean. My cat was really nervous, but Dr. Castle was patient and also offered a few suggestions on how to help for our next visit. Everyone was knowledgeable and understanding with all my questions; they were quick to compile a quote for upcoming visits and procedures even before I finished check out.
I have moved out of state and back and would still rather drive an hour & fifteen minutes than go anywhere else. I have seen every doctor in the facility and have gone through the end of life process with them. I wouldn't even change that extremely difficult process, they were there every step of the way, amazingly supportive & tried to let us know as gently as possible what to expect. Thanks for always making our pup Jack feel safe and happy while he's there!
Overall, I am not bringing my cats back again. Service for dogs are okay. The vet was flustered with two cats and one dog. And claimed our cats were so stressed she suggested giving both cats gabapentin before vet visits, all while one of my cats was sitting in her carrier with the front open on the exam table and purring and relaxed. The way the vet tech and vet treated my kitty purring makes me angry, even now. Because instead of drawing blood from the leg or neck, blood was drawn from under the tail, which is typically never done and I know for a fact this is done in “aggressive” animals, which my cat is not. And the tail is more sensitive than the neck or arm so my cat was induced to unnecessary additional pain. The vet was flustered and even almost forgot to give our dog a wellness exam but came back to do so. Our deposit was also not included in the bill at check out and I had to call later to get money we overpaid back. And beware because medical waste disposal fees are not charged per family, but rather per pet. Fairview charges all the additional possible charges compared to any other veterinary clinic I have gone to. Very disappointed.
We had a first check-in appt before neuter, and all went well. Knowledgeable and kind.
Had a poor experience with a prior vet taking care of our puppy and my partner and I were looking to establish care with a new vet for routine care. We called about 10 different offices all of which were full. Finally we were referred to Fairview as we were told they were accepting new patients. For some strange reason they refuse to take new patients that are already "established" with another vet, even though we are longer taking our puppy to that vet. Can you even image if this were how we treated humans in medicine? "I'm sorry, since you've been seen by another doctor you cannot be seen by anyone else..." Absolutely insane.
Fairview was amazing with my senior dog's first boarding. They kept his medications up and made sure he was well taken care of. He came home in good spirits even with his separation anxiety.
