Famous Dave's has been pretty consistent and found ways to reinvent itself with menu additions and entree reimaginations. Today I tried a salad for a change and thoroughly loved it. Of course having access to standard faves like the baked beans and cornbread muffins and broccoli help too. Always enjoyable! Was a great day to sit outside on the patio too! Happy 25th Famous Dave's!
We visited Dave's bar for the first time tonight and had a great experience. Me and my husband went there on Friday evening, around 6pm and were surprised that it was almost empty. It started getting more crowded around 7 but still not bad. Stuff was super friendly and attentive. We both got burgers which were delicious you could really taste the barbecue cooking and the dessert was mouthwatering. Highly recommend getting the Daves bread pudding! Overall great restaurant, definitely will be back.
Great food complimented by excellent service. I'd like to note that the Buffalo wings here aren't your traditional butter and Frank's red hot. They have may more flavor than your average wing, and I definitely recommend them since they offer a platter of wings as an appetizer. I had the brisket sandwich which was excellent. I didn't even need any of their six sauce that they offer at the table. Honestly, the brisket here tasted better than some of the so-called "award winning" brisket I've had at BBQ events and competitions. The server we had was extraordinary as she had a very friendly demeanor and was constantly filling drinks and checking in on us. She also went above and beyond when I had a food allergy concern. Definitely a highly recommended casual dining establishment. We'll be returning here for future visits.
Great food, good atmosphere & service, although the booths could be a bit bigger for us folks on the larger side, love the place for either family gatherings or a friends meeting night.
Great food with great prices! Please try the South Side appetizer they're AMAZING! Take out orders are always prepared quickly and presented with a smile!
Food was great and hot. A large assortment of meat, corn, beans, Coleslaw and Cornmeal biscuits for 5 people. Waitress was prompt and friendly.

Very fresh and tasty Lunch. Really enjoyed it. The Bread pudding is simply delicious.
Food was just OK. The beans were watered down, not a thick consistency I would expect. Prices are a bit high for the quality in my opinion. This was my first time here.
The food was beyond my expectations!!! Although 4 stars because of the service that can definitely be improved
