Absolutely delicious.. Great service. Prices are a bit high, but well worth it. Food and service sure made up for that. Visiting from South Carolina. Will definetly be back on my next trip. Wheelchair accessibility: Had no problem getting in and put. Handicap assesable.
Just so disappointing. My husband and i went here for our anniversary and wow did we pick the wrong place to celebrate. The snapper special had to be sent back, it was clearly not fresh and had no texture to it other than mush, i couldnt get past the first bite. They did bring me a pasta dish instead which was pretty good so i did appreciate that. The 'veal' was raw on the inside so we had to have that cooked longer which then resulted in a well done steak so not great either way and the broccoli that was served with it was mushy and tasted frozen. Overall, a big waste of money.
This place is absolutely fantastic and I have been at least 8 times over the last 3 months. I am so particular when it comes to Italian food, especially sauce. I really rarely order it at Italian restaurants, but because I have had great meals here, I decided to try. Unreal....I literally have had nothing bad here, nothing. Add to it, the staff and owners are so nice. They know how to run a restaurant. It may be my favorite Italian restaurant ever and I am 53. I will always go here , even if I move out of Croton. A true gem!
First and foremost, it was uncomfortably warm and humid during our entire dinner. I’d never actually sweated like that in a restaurant before. Only as we were leaving did someone plug in a wall air conditioner, but it was too late for us. Once we were seated, it took about ten minutes before we even got menus—in fact the bread came before the menus did. The decor was relatively non-existent, and consisted of framed reviews of the restaurant and multiple huge Christmas present-type boxes with bows in between the framed reviews I guess the holidays last into the summer at Fino. As far as the food, my wife’s white wine was barely chilled and just a bit below room temperature. Our entrees were mediocre at best, and way overpriced for what we got my wife’s shrimp scampi had very few shrimps. The pasta in her dish was gluten free, and it was the worst I’d ever tasted. Gluten-free pasta we make at home out of a box is way better than what Fino serves so be warned. Each of our entrees cost over $30, and for that kind of money you should expect a decent meal, as well as a decent portion of food. I do give good marks to the salads and grilled calamari, but that’s not nearly enough to get us to go back there ever again. For us, it literally is "fino!"
Just came back from a trip to Roma, Italia, where I had the best pasta Carbonara. After returning home, I had a craving, and visited Fino and ordered their Carbonara and it was so good! Pasta was al dente, and the sauce was perfect. Highly recommend this restaurant.Food: 5/5
I was excited to give this place a shot but I was immediately dissapointed. The service was hands down bad, long waits for mediocre dishes. My plate which included mushrooms had been extremely chewy = old. And my friend got immediately sick. The only good thing was the wine honestly. I am just sad
The food here is incredible and the staff is incredibly friendly! The atmosphere is really calming, and our food came really fast. 100% recommend!Food: 5/5
We have lived around here for 20 years and never knew of this place. My wife found it by chance.....we have been missing out. Our party of eight adults, teens and kids really enjoyed our meals. Great service. We will definitely be returning.Food: 5/5
The best chicken parm. we ever tasted, waiters were fantastic and the mixed drinks were superb. Will be coming back again for sure.Food: 5/5
This is a very popular location for family gatherings and many patrons seem to be regulars. The service and attention were amazing but turn around time from order to items- on- the- table was slow. The drinks were good but the water service was slow. The appetizers came quickly and then there was a long lag time. Given the popularity and the holiday parties- the food came to table warm and not hot, which was a bit disappointing. The cappuccinos were great- the desserts were average. The restaurant might not be at its finest because of the crowded Easter Sunday...consider trying this Italian restaurant from a family gathering, as the staff did not rush the patrons out to make room for the next party.
