I've been going to this location almost weekly for a very long time. Usually with a couple of friends. In my opinion, when Shea is not there the service is not very good. I went there today around 11:15. The woman who waited on me seemed very confused when I ordered a turkey club. She argued about what it has on it. When I started reading the description from the menu on the wall behind her, she became even more argumentative. I left and went across the street to their competitor. I know there is a staffing shortage but if this woman's poor excuse for customer service is the best that they can do, they should lock the door and call it quits. You can't stay in business by arguing with customers about what they do and do not want on their sandwich. Going forward, if I walk in the door and Shea's not there, I'll go elsewhere.
Tried to order online three times and it just would not allow me to build a sub. I had to choose a turkey sub made the way they wanted. I tried to call and order but phone went to a blank message and hung up. I took what was available with the online app and still could not make it a combo. When I picked my order up. No chips were in bag and when I had added them. The girl behind register had no concerns about my problems and did not want to be bothered. She blamed the app troubles on corporate and said it happens all the time. The said corporate told them not to answer their phones to take orders as well. We will no longer visit Firehouse subs after bad experiences at Weaverville location as well. This place has hit rock bottom since going there ten years ago. Bon appétit.
This review is only for corporate or upper management only. Food is great and people are nice, but I won’t be back until you reply to this post and tell me you allowed them to have a tip jar. I’m not supporting a business that doesn’t allow employees that work harder to make more money by removing the chance of them having a tip.
Would give 0 stars but not an option. Stopped in today to grab some lunch. I didn't catch their name but the man with a little ponytail was the most obnoxious person I've seen in a while. Heard him tell another customer he had only been there since February. Well I've been coming longer than that but today will be the last time. I walked out with nothing. No way I can support this business with employees like that. Having a bad day is one thing but you are in front of the public. There's no need to be condescending to customers. There are too many options for lunch around. Want a sub? Hit Jersey Mike's or Schlotzsky's. I'll think about coming back if I see a comment from the owner/Manager that this employee is no longer there.
Got there around 11:15/11:20 ordered one one medium sub. waited about 35-40 minutes. Didn’t see a single sub go out to anyone who had ordered in the lobby within that timeframe. I assumed that online orders were being top priority but it backfires when you have multiple people waiting just as long and people walking in. Manager clearly was under stress working with a weak/short staff, totally understandable, but he was a bit reactive rather than pro active with his staff and could’ve had a better tonenot reprimanded an employee so that the lobby can hear, as a previous manager myself that is completely embarrassing and unacceptable to do regardless of the employees skill level…and possibly a reason why they can’t keep staff. It would’ve been appreciated to have some transparency as to how long it would’ve taken for a single sandwich to be made. Not to mention, the sandwich was very sloppy and felt as if the meat was heated 15 mins prior to the rest of it being built. Overall a poor experience.
Much like everyone else what used yo be the best meatiest sub in the game is now basically a subway...... overpriced subs with very little meat on them at a cost that exceeds subway its really sad the price goes up as quantity and quality go away thanks greedy owner what a way to destroy what was the best brand in the gameFood: 1/5
I ordered from the app for the first time. I walked in and found where the online orders were held. Waited a few minutes while the employees were bad mouthing a girl that wasn't there. I seen there was only one order so I grabbed it and got my drink. I just wanted to get out of there because they were being so loud about it. I grabbed the wrong order. My fault. 40 minute drive round trip. 22 bucks down the drain. I didn't even eat the whole wheat sandwich I grabbed. Very expensive mistake I can't afford to risk again.
Tried to call in a mobile order Cody answered we proceeded to tell him our order and he told us that the order was to complained he didn't have anything to write it down with and that he MIGHT do it for us this one time but they normally do that. Then I called back he said I know Shay does that for you but you are asking for vegetables on this salad that I don't even know how to ring it up and then told me that the salad we asked for which was a firehouse salad add Cajun chicken wasn't even a thing. He was very rude and unprofessional.
This is my favorite location! Staff is awesome. They always talk with my 4 year old who has lots to say. So glad it's open regular hours after months of closing early due to staff shortage which I understand happens.Food: 5/5
I have been here several times. This location has never been fast. This time, there was 1 person, and apparently, 1 take out order in front of me. They still took 34 minutes to make my 1 sandwich. Love Firehouse but won't go back to this locationFood: 3/5
