My wife and I stayed here for a week while visiting Asheville and the Great Smoky Mountains. Rooms were comfortable and clean, pool was nice even though it was on the small side for a hotel pool. The breakfast did get a little repetitive but it was good and free. Very conveniently located near the airport and main roads, neither of which was to loud for sleeping as we had no trouble at all.
Front desk staff are cool and easy to deal with. They are helpful and friendly on a level where you don't feel like just another random person. The rooms are nice and clean. The housekeeping ladies are so sweet and do a great job. Don't forget to leave a nice tip for them as they do a job that most won't and they do it without complaint! This hotel helped me out when I was stuck in a very difficult situation, far from home. They went ABOVE AND BEYOND and I won't soon forget it. Not only is this hotel extremely close to the airport, it's run by some great people. There is also a free shuttle service to and from the airport that is always running which is a huge help. Support this hotel by staying here, and support the awesome staff by being a great customer! Thanks again for all that you did for me you three know who you are I won't ever forget it!
Nice hotel, staff was nice. Breakfast was a basic continental deal. Only downfall we can see is that this is the forth time we have stayed here in a matter of a several months and the hot tub is always “out of order” but looks great. Why? Just don’t want to deal with the area? Bummer, we look forward to it relaxing and look for a hot tub. We won’t come here again.
We stayed here because it’s location to the airport- we could turn the rental car in the night before and walk the half mile in the morning since we had a very early flight. The hotel is dated and while the surface is clean the room smelled of cigarette smoke and mildew. Had a very hard time sleeping with that as I’m sensitive to smoke. The front desk lady was very friendly though.
Great facility, very nice decor, staff very nice and helpful. The downside, it is not in walking distance to the nearby restaurants/stores. If you rent a car, it's fine otherwise you have to Uber it or get the hotel shuttle to drop you off and pick you up. They do provide a good breakfast with several choices of food. Had a problem trying to access the airline site to print boarding passes. Problem was their server and there was not a tech person there to assist.
This hotel is in a great location, directly across from the airport. The staff was very kind and helpful. The room was pretty good for the price point. There was a giant stain on the carpet and there is a bit of a stuffy smell. The only thing I would say isn't amazing is the pool area. The hot tub looked very icky, but maybe the cement needed a deep clean... I didn't take my chances. The pool seemed fine/clean, but structurally the tile around the pool is sloped so the water runs down to the drain, but it creates a very slippery situation. My little kids and my mom fell.
The location of the hotel was amazingly close to AVL. It was directly across the street. My stay was for only one night 04/23. The front desk staff was nice. Aside from that, the first room we were provided had a dirty luggage bench that had dried up food on it. It was the first thing you saw when you went it the room, so I am not sure how it was overlooked. The room did not have a clean smell, so it had not been cleaned to my knowledge. The sheets looked as if someone made the bed and then hung out on them. The next room we stayed in was room 109. The sheets were clean, and the room actually had a "just cleaned smell." I always check for bedbugs when I stay in hotels. This was clear of bedbugs. While checking, I did notice that the bed closest to the window had large brown stains on it that were under the matress cover. There were stains on the carpet between both of the beds, and near the window seat, there were m&m's and pistachio shells behind it. They obviously don't do overall room cleaning between each guest. There was also a trail of black ants in the bathroom. The luggage bench in this room was clean. I'm not a clean freak by any means but I did end up wiping everything down. Don't think I would stay again. Even with how close it was to the airport, I would rather stay in a cleaner hotel and drive a little farther. No photos. A family member had paid for my family to stay overnight.
Very nice, clean place. Breakfast was good. plenty of room better than the average food. Got a nice deal as well. 2 nights, $245 out the door. Rooms: New, Very nice, plenty of room
