If you have a woodcare project coming up, I highly recommend visiting this shop, they're knowledgeable and have years of experience! I personally recommend using Sansin wood stain; after 13 years in the business I have not found a better product, but don't take my word for it.... see the folks at Fisk Paint.
Great place with helpful, friendly staff. The paint they sell is light years better than the big box stores. This is now my go to paint store.
Small shop but incredible selection hear the words fully stocked with an extremely knowledgeable and helpful team. Super friendly, they remembered me a couple days after my first visit and asked how my project was going. Genuinely care to ensure you have the right product for your project, not just the most expensive as so many other businesses do.
Excellent service! The owner, John, is very knowledgeable and helpful. He taught me everything I needed to know about tackling a large project, restaining a stairway handrail and painting the previously stained spindles. The project turned out great thanks to his expert guidance.
John is amazing! I was looking for a custom stain color for my kitchen cabinets. I didn't think you could mix stains.....I took him a sample of what I was looking for and he matched the paint and stain colors by eye no less and gave me a step by step process on how to achieve the look I wanted. You can't find that knowledge, customer service and expertise at a big box store! I will buy all my paint at Fisk Paints!
Fisk Paints helped me with a whole house remodel. I found them on recommendation of a neighbor. They helped with everything from picking the appropriate products to paint a rough redwood board wall and Venetian plaster finish to matching colors and finishing a redwood tree table with a product I had never heard of before that wars better than anything we had ever used. John can tell you the composition of the product and uses his knowledge to make the best recomendations. I also found his prices reasonable and in many cases less expensive than the big paint names. A great resource. Our house looks beautiful! Thank you John.
Excellent service and products. I appreciate how much time they spent giving me advice on how to best apply the stain all the steps from prep to clean-up. Stellar results with the Ecoprocote concrete colors, even with me being a rookie with no experience. It looks great, and is non-toxic appreciate not having to worry about harsh chemicals with barefoot kids and fish in the nearby pond!
John is very knowledgeable about his products, and always very happy to help or give advice to make sure the project goes smoothly. He's awesome, wish there were more folks like him!

What incredible customer service! I had no idea what product to use on wood garage doors color, durability, top coat etc. Robert answered my questions, checked with Mr. Fisk and they gave me all the answers. I am so impressed.
