Fitchburg Public Library

One of my favorite libraries. Outstanding architecture and natural light, well thought out uses with children on the first floor and several adult reading rooms upstairs along with a technology room and a dedicated history room. Additionally, the art is a delight.

Very friendly staff and well organized place. It’s busy all year doing useful creative activities for people from different ages. Children, teenagers, and adults. On Halloween occasion the event they did blew my children’s minds away, especially the magic show and figure scavenger. It has a big collection of new books

We love our library! It's sleek, clean, and modern. The selection is amazing and of course since they work with the other Dane county libraries, if they don't have something, they can get it in pretty fast. The kids section is awesome, offering a great selection of books and movies, computers with educational games, play tables, puzzles, and frequent events for kids/families.

My kids love the play area, and I appreciate the rotations of toys and books to keep things fresh. Also loving the rainbow and clouds display this month!

Computer lab second floor seems to be a living space for several vagrants. Bring a laptop, avoid public computers. KL 9/24

This is a wonderful facility. They have very attentive staff.

Libraries are a magical place . One of the last places we can go without the expectation of spending money. THIS library is amazing. They have wonderful activities, a great children's library and play area, and the librarians are wonderful. Go there! Support your local library!!

This is the closest library to us. It’s big and beautiful. But every time I go I am so disappointed by how unfriendly the Children’s librarians are. They never make an effort to engage with me or my children. Unless it was to yell at my two year old to wear a mask or to tell my 5 year old to stop stacking some big foam blocks that they have. It feels like They don’t want children to come here and that is a shame.
