The Department of Statistics at The Florida State University was founded in September 1959 under the initiative and direction of Ralph Bradley.
The FSU Statistics Department offers PhD's in Statistics and Biostatistics, MS degrees in Statistics and Biostatistics, BS degrees in Statistics, and minors in Statistics. We also have a 3+ 2 combo BS/MS degree program, offer grad and undergrad certification in SAS, and offer online courses. The faculty of the Department of Statistics has a distinguished record of research and teaching.
We currently have 15 full-time faculty, over 70 graduate students, and about 40 undergraduate majors. We have an undergraduate Statistics Club, a Student Advisory Council, and a chapter of Mu Sigma Rho.
