Flying Monkey Arts is an independent creative community brought together by a collective of beautiful minds. We have grown with the support of local artists, patrons, and community ideas.

Flying Monkey is home to several artists and kind shop owners: Karma Rags, Tye-Dye Jim, Squeaking Tribe Puppets, TheFilm Co-op, Emily Bodnar, Sara Bowen Pottery, Logan Tanner, Out Loud HSV, Sun Dog Studio, Guvnah, Blue Dragonfly Creations, First Contact Sewing, Pixel Perfect, Jolly Paws Pet Portraits, FredBread, Cre8tive Sistas...

Our theater is home to swing dancing, comedy shows, poetry slams, and more! We are always looking for innovative and interesting shows to bring to our theater and expand our community!

Awesome art place to visit! There is a lot of vendors as well! Been there is several times.

Cool theater, perfect for a variety of events and shows. On-site mixing during shows makes for crystal clear sound every time, and the large space with wood floors and ceiling make for great acoustics for live music. Check out Them Damn Dogs if you ever see them playing here!

This review is for the stand up comedy shows  This place is located in Lowe Mill arts center.  They do stand up shows once a month and they're great.  The comics are usually local, although they do have some that come in from out of state.  This show is not family friendly.  If you're not ok with hearing sensitive subjects discussed in insensitive ways, then you probably shouldn't come.  The tickets are cheap, and they sell cheap snacks at the door.  Will certainly go again.

We were delightfully surprised! You could spend all day here and still not see everything.  We may have covered half of the building.  What an amazing group of diverse artists! It's pupper friendly. They have a very clean building, besides art of every type,  they have popsicles and whiskey.  Ya just can't go wrong!

Funky Huntsville hangout for art lovers of all kinds, from arts & crafts to used clothing & books & vinyl to really world-class ceramics, painting, photography, & glass. Good food + one of the best artisan chocolate on the face on the planet.

Very cool atmosphere and they have interesting events every week. It's definitely worth the short drive from Madison to see what's going on at the Flying Monkey.

I was here when flying monkey had just opened.   The quality of the artists was not very good.   Fast forward ten years and the transformation is incredible.   This is unique to Huntsville and is worthy of celebration.

Just a wonderful gem of Huntsville - perhaps THE gem of Huntsville. Tons of artists, performance and more food than ever now! Wonderful.

Went there tonight in support of #EmptyBowlsHSV.  Great company, great food, great art, great environment to teach your kids how creative and caring the world can be.
