The staff is helpful and friendly as well as many of the seasonal residents. Some sites are a bit tight but it's well maintained and clean. Staff members come and garbage pick up the garbage twice weekly. I would've given 5 stars but there were problems with the heaters in the pool and hot tub. Definitely worth returning too.
Nice clean RV park. The pool was unfortunately closed during our stay. It's kinda in the middle of nowhere, but a nicer park than most of the TT/ Encore properties. There's a large preserve next door to go for walks. About an hour from both Orlando & Disney.
Can’t believe the changes that have taken place at this park. Started coming in winter 2018 and loved it. Friendly neighbours they still are and that’s why we kept coming back great pool and central location. However things have been going downhill and people are upset…pool has been closed since first week in January for repairs and is still not open.. we are told it will open February 14 but it doesn’t look good. We were not made aware of the closing until our arrival on January 15 but not by the office. The office could have emailed us to let us know but didn’t. Needless to say we are planning on staying at a different rv park next year.
Away from some of the madness of the big city more of a country quieter area less traffic. Love the trains that come through Zephyrhills on a regular basis part of the charm of this area. Also enjoy the pasture lands and Angus cows which I appreciate. Needed a break from the city. Nearby activities: Hillsborough park preserve just behind park, beautiful to walk or hike. Military museum, skydiving, Zephyrhills Park and splash pad for kids, Zephyrhills brewing company, skate park. One hour and 15 to one hour and half to your choices of beaches Clearwater to name one. Safety: Very safe environment security rides around on golf carts frequently. Neighbors look out as well for each other and will report anything out of the ordinary. Food & drinks: Penguin Bar, Saigon has amazing pho 10 minutes to all major stores, 25 minutes to large malls. Noteworthy details: 3 pools, 2 hot tubs, 2 clubhouses, pool tables, shuffle board, miniature golf, basketball court, horse shoes, library, activities like bingo, dances depends on time of season, tennis to name a few. Restrooms: By clubhouse laundry room as well as restrooms and shower. Dog-friendliness: Two dog parks available. Picnic area: Picnic tables available and grills by pool areas.
Everyone is incredibly friendly. The people are the best part of the park. The office lady was incredibly friendly and helpful along with the residents. However, it's very expensive for what you're getting. Incredibly small lot and a lot of people packed on top of each other. Pool is broken so we had to walk to a neighboring area. Glad this was an option, but still frustrating for the rate you pay. Also, you have to pay extra for Wi-Fi. Laundry room was well maintained and clean. So that was nice. $160 for 2 nights with hardly anything for the price except for the hook ups. No wi fi included, restroom facility, or bath/shower area. People are 5 stars. Facility 3 stars. Average of 4 stars in my opinion. Probably wouldn't come back, but overall enjoyed the time together as a family.
Run! Trash! Nasty! This mobile home park of trailer trash are rude, trashy, loud, obnoxious, and it's not worth your frustration. Kids just running and playing in the street without supervision. A bunch of squatters and crime. Trains run all the time right nextdoor. They allow RV's to fill in spots where trashy mobiles used to be, so it's very tight. The pictures are just two examples of trashy lowlifes that scream, cuss, are loud, rude, and obnoxious. Of course, if this is your type, be my guest because y'all need to stay in one place!
Small rv park, mainly cabins. No handicap showers, both pool and hot tub where closed down. Only thing to do was dog park, Small, and no water for dogs, had hard time getting in with wheelchair.Rooms: 1/5
To quiet and snooty for me. To many people to close nothing different then a trailer park. Up north they have very bad rep. Never admit that up there
1st. Came in after office hours but knew what site was ours ahead of time. Rainstorm came in so we quickly set up our trailer on the cement pad like all our previous Park setups only to read later Forest Lake requires RVers to setup RV on grass with vehicles on pad. We had just traveled all day but wanting to be good RV Park users took down the setup and reset-up the RV that needed lift blocks due to uneven ground. 2nd.The entire Park has only one bath-house that only consists of one toilet/shower for men and one toilet/shower for ladies with the ladies shower area having no privacy door OR curtain. The men's has a privacy closing. Result a woman would have to use the door lock to area for privacy causing the toilet unavailable to other park users. 3stars for nicely laid out park. :
Nice and quiet park with tight RV spots for a 41 footer 5th wheel
