This is my first dog so I was nervous about taking her to the vet. The staff and the doctor were very knowledgeable and listened as I told them what was going on with Bella. They explained to me what was going on and what they were going to do in a way that I was able to understand. I was given a print out exposing what was going on and the procedure that was done. The doctor and staff were very nice to Bella and put her at ease. I love this practice and I’m glad I bought Bella here. The prices are also very reasonable. They even gave Bella a treat for the ride home. I really appreciate the doctor and the staff at the Forsyth Veterinary Hospital.
Forsyth Vet Hospital has been our choice since 2005, caring for nine of our dogs over the years. Always professional, hardworking, and compassionate. Willing to seek a second opinion. Fair pricing. We have moved to Virginia and are happy to drive the distance for exceptional care for our animals.
I called yesterday to see about my daughter's cat being seen. First available was Aug 29th, I understand u need an appointment but we were concerned about our kitty and getting her seen asap. No one including the receptionist, cared nor tried to do a work in appointment. Didn't even suggest another vet, but that's ok I found a much better caring place!
Everyone at Forsyth Veterinarian is always very very helpful. We take all 3 of our dog's there. The Dr. And staff are top notch.Yhank ya for ever8thatcya have done for us and our kid doggies.
The staff were very nice and happy to help take care of my new kitten.
Dr. Gillis and her staff are the best. They genuinely care about my animals, and the expertise they have is second to none. They took care of my pups from day one, and when I had to make the decision to put them down, Dr Gillis was right there helping me to make the best decision during a tough time. I’ve been taking my dogs to the clinic for 15 years and I know that every time I needed to take them they’re in the best hands. We recently added to our family with a new pup and there is only one place she’ll ever go! Thank you Dr Gillis, we love you, you and the entire team are the best!
I know this will be a long Review and I am sorry. But you have to know how wonderful this Forsyth Vet Hospital is... My baby dog suffered from some traumatic experience from the groomer he went before. Since then he changed "drastically". He used to be so sweet that anybody could just hug carry and pet him. Now, He is so scared and out of his fear he started biting. He has been seeing the other "Vet" place. But after that vet place said to me to just put my baby to "sleep" permanently or do rehoming because he started biting. Then I thought of getting 2nd opinion. I think they were so cruel! They didn't suggest to see him for further or more evaluations and they just interviewed me over the phone and told me that. The vet tech there didn't even try to help my dog to make him feel better from his trauma. And can't even try to trim his nails or just show sympathy; except for giving him "cocktail medicines". Until I went to Forsyth Vet Hospital. I met there Allison-Vet Tech. With no resistance of fear, She was able to show love and comfort to my baby dog. Allison hugged my baby!!! When no one from that other "Vet" office has ever done or at least try that! My baby dog was feisty as they were trying to trim his nails but Allison did not give up. She continued to hug and comfort Noodle as the Dr. was trying to trim his nails. And for the 1st time again, with Allison's help to keep my baby dog calm, Dr. William D. was also brave enough to give a complete check up with my dog that the other "Vet" didn't do! My dog finally experience to have a stethoscope to check him. Staff were so loving and concern to my traumatized dog. And for Allison being so dedicated to her job and caring so much to my baby dog, I know now that me and my baby will be in good hands. And my baby dog will get better for we found Allison and Forsyth Veterinary Hospital to help us. I will definitely stay with them and will move all my dogs to this facility and leave that other "Cruel Vet" place.!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH ALLISON AND DR. WILLIAM D.
