"This 54-acre, former King County Park, is a beautiful addition to the City of Tukwila’s park system. It was acquired in January of 2003 in partnership with Starfire Sports. The largest park in Tukwila, Fort Dent has soccer fields, playground, picnic area, restrooms, trails and open areas.Although Starfire Sports charges a fee for parking on weekends and some weekdays, parking is free for all Tukwila residents. Like all western Washington parks right now, it is green and lush. Bordered by the green river to on its southern end. The river acts a natural feature enhancing the setting. The park and recreational area is also part of the Sounders training camp. Several soccer, football, pitches ring the central parking lots. Great park for all ages. Swings and monkey bars for the kids. Walking trails for all.

Bald eagle built a nest on the stadium lights. . Great spot. . The lights keep the nest nice and warm during cold fall and winter nights. . Plus no predator can climb up and steal the eggs or mess with them after they hatch. . Beautiful sight. . God bless our beautiful America....

Great park. Pond with ducks nearby. Tukwila residents also park for free, just show your ID. Others may have to pay to park if there is a lot of soccer going on. You may see some professional soccer players.

Is a nice playground with a walking path at the back of all the soccer fields. The playground had some great equipment, my nearly 3 year old could enjoy most of it. There were some stuff that would be great for older kids and a smaller playground for younger kids as well. 2 baby swings and 2 regular swings. There were a couple of exercise equipment for adults. The park was clean and had 4 picnic tables around the playground. Bathrooms were clean as well.

I've lived down here for years and never visited. Didn't  know what I was missing. It's mostly soccer fields, but it has substantial river side areas with picnic tables and shady giant trees. A great paved path and an overall great place. Great place for a jog or anything really.

It had been years since I've been to this park in Renton. I used to live in the area. I would go for there for walks along the Green river. It was less crowded then... Seems like over the years it's been reconfigured to accommodate lots of sports fields, mainly soccer. Lots of people now, especially families. There are many times when they charge for parking there, which seems odd... even if you're not there to go to the sports fields.

This park is awesome if your a bicycler for sure!!! I started way over near oakesdale and grady and rode through corporate parks, found a paved trail and it took me there after wiggling around on different trails for a bit. I have a mountain bike, it's pave but also there are PLENTY of places to go backcountry of the beaten path mini trails connected to this one.The best part about this park is that it is sort of a hub for a bicyclist to get to many different parks or just even shortcuts to where. you normally go anyway if your local. I got lucky and caught an awesome sunset. i'll be riding through there again soon. I think i found like a couple solid hours of riding around not only that park but the trails leading off of it too.

Great place to take toddlers for some play time! Parking was easy, wheelchair accessible and the area is nice around sunset!!  Playground: Awesome lil spot

Fort Dent Park is a park and a children's playground located within the Starfire sports fields complex. The park itself is very big but it can also get crowded when there are soccer games happening in the nearby soccer fields. The park has slides, swings, and plenty of climbing equipment for the kids to burn off their energy!  The park and sports fields are located in the Green River Trail and the Lake to Sound Trail. You'll see plenty of joggers, runners, walkers, bikers, and all sorts of people on the trail making a pit stop by Starfire and the park.  Ample parking but it can get very packed on game days.  Food, snacks, abs other cafe goodies are available in the afternoons.

Nice playground area. This park had a lot to offer. Pretty well maintained.
