Absolutely love this library! I happened to find it on an outing to the beach. It is a private owned library so I did not find it on the lee county library system. If at the very least the bookends at this library are worth the trip . So unique and such a hidden treasure. Esther was such a huge help and so wonderful to talk to. The view of the beach from this location is phenomenal! Must visit if you enjoy libraries.
I have not had the pleasure of losing myself in this beautiful literary structure because it was built after I moved out of state. I was watching an "Ian" video and my heart "heard" the crying from within at the loss of so many books.
A multi floor Library with a fantastic variety. Handicap accessible, clean, and quiet. Wonderful reading areas for people of all ages, don't miss the small book store on the third floor.
One of my favorite libraries! Friendly staff and volunteers, well utilized space, plenty of books, obviously a place the community cares about.

I am so shocked to see anything but 5 stars for this library! They have an awesome list of events each month that vary in interest, a large used book store, a wonderful director and helpful staff. On the third floor they highlight a different artist each month and display their art. On the second floor, I've watched hundreds of people from all over the world come in and spend time working on large puzzles. It is apparent that consideration for the patrons is taken into account and there are many opportunities for interaction. One of the reviews below was about the beach, NOT the library, and the other said the bathrooms were dirty. I have never encountered this and actually find they smell very nice. The whole library is kept clean and tidy. I didn't even mention the view! Stop by for 15 minutes even to check it out, you won't be sorry. Then leave a review! I choose to volunteer my time there and hear from so many people every time I'm there how wonderful they feel it is, I'd love to see more of those people's reviews!
What a gorgeous beach on a beautiful perfect day with my gorgeous man. Thanks Mike for the mini vacay, the shopping trip, and a phenomenal romantic dinner last night. Today was fabulous on the beach making memories together on a beautiful beach with my super gorgeous hubbs. Love this place
One of my favorite libraries that has many cozy nooks and crannies where you can see the ocean while reading a book or magazine. The glass elevator and 'beach display' on the third floor is very creative. There is also a cafe that is open during season and a large room containing a nice selection of current magazines. There are several study rooms and conference rooms as well. The second floor has computers along with a nice size DVD library and a play area for kids. This library is a fun place to go for the whole family. It would be nice though if they stayed open late one evening past 5.
Beautiful place for young and older book lovers. They had a whole section of large print books. I enjoyed the used book store on the third floor. The sea shell display was amazing.
Very Beautuful Library! They have a coffee shop on the third floor overlooking the water! The kids will love the bronze statue, the shell collection, train display, and the always changing sand sculpture!
