Fantastic chicken sandwich with white and dark meat tossed in like a mild Tennessee sauce something like that with mayo and pickles. I can't stop thinking about this sandwich. Yes, please, I will have another!

I have never tasted a lunch sandwich so fresh and hot! I was on my way to have a quick lunch with my blue collar mechanic hubby. This place was a cold call for me based on their reviews. WE weren’t disappointed. I ordered 2 pork sandwiches. They came out of the bag hot, hefty, and smelled incredible. My muscle man managed to finish his but I couldn’t. Believe me, I wanted too. We can’t wait to stop in again. Only con: *****they had moved locations and I didn’t know where. There old place was kind enough to give me the new location. *****

Discovered this hidden gem inside of Hawthorne Coffee shop in Bay View one Saturday morning and am I glad I did! I ordered the Vegan No-Peanut Stew and a vegan Banh Mi - both super delicious! Can't wait to go back and luckily I won't have to wait because I'm meeting my friends here every Saturday morning for as long as they're here! It's our new local hangout right in our neighborhood - finally! We've been waiting for a nice coffee shop & vegan-friendly restaurant to pop-up and it literally did - this is a pop-up restaurant! I hope they find a permanent home here or nearby. UPDATE: The menu changes! There was no Banh Mi sandwich the last time I went, so I had the Fried Brussel Sprouts instead and while not as filling as a sandwich, obviously, they were delicious - the best brussel sprouts I've ever had. Smoky and not bitter at all, excellent flavor. My friends ordered other food and loved them all. More vegan items, please, and this place will earn 5 stars! Reviewed on 1/6/2019

My wife brought me home the "baller hot chicken sandwich" and my oh my...best chicken sandwich I've ever had. Juicy, spicy, creamy, tangy; It was absolutely perfect. Definitely a meal in itself as it's pushing the scale at almost a pound! Check this place out.

The war is over, Foxfire has won the chicken sandwich wars. Everyone else brought a knife to a gunfight. Foxfire brought a nuclear bomb. You don't need a knife. It was the juiciest most tender chicken sandwich ever. And the popcorn! So delicious!

Amazing food. I'm not a spicy fan, but their version of spicy is so flavorful that I LOVED it! The staff were so great. Go into hawthorne while you wait for your food and get the best coffeeon the south side, probably best in MKE.

Waited for 15 mins after they notified me the food was ready, the fries were soggy, the burger was way too salty and greasy. It basically fell apart in my hands, the burger pattys included. Ive had other things from them that were good but the burger and fries I got from them was terrible.

I had their pesto brie cheese sandwich two weeks and was blown away. This time, not so much. I was actually disappointed. No seasoning and was not Warm like the last time.. Will try something different next time

DAMN GOOD hot fried chicken sandwich and pork dip sandwich. Best lunch in a long while with fast and great customer service. Can’t wait to go back, thanks for making our week better!

I've never bothered to post a review but felt compelled to give Foxfire high marks for ease of ordering and pickup, speed of preparation, and above all...the best meal we've had in a very long time. We look forward to next time and expect we'll become regulars. Brian & Jean
