The museum has sixteen rooms and hallways of artifacts displaying local history. The Genealogy Society is also housed in the museum.
The museum has sixteen rooms and hallways of artifacts displaying local history. Visitors can also stop in for a bite to eat at the Red Geranium Tea Room, which serves meals every Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. There is a weekly menu special, and fresh pies and cakes are available for desert.
The Genealogy Society is also housed in the museum. Research on the area and on the people of Franklin County is conducted every Wednesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
There is also a quilting room where visitors can see ladies making quilts by hand on Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
