Description

Fredrick Prince is a fashion forward hand crafted jewellery line. All of our pieces are made in-house in Toronto, Ontario in limited quantities with genuine semi-precious stones. Our chain bases are brass with various plating on them. We stock a variety of special occasion, statement, dainty, sterling silver, everyday, long and short, choker and multi-layered necklaces.

We are now stocking handpicked gems and minerals along with an assortment of gifting items like candles, teas, beard oils for men,prints, photography, bar ware and stemware and more.

Back in May my boyfriend took me here for my birthday and it was definitely the best gift I could have asked for! Melissa was the perfect host. She's very kind, creative and very helpful. She's very patient, and allowed for you to create your own masterpiece and she knows when to step in if you need help or advice, I felt like it was the perfect balance. It's been two months and I still think about this experience often! I love my necklaces and I can't wait to go back!
I received the gift of two jewelry workshops at Fredrick Prince, one to make a bracelet, one a necklace. Both workshops were fabulous experiences and I'm thrilled with the results. The store has such a lovely ambience and is filled with Melissa's beautiful pieces - it's an inspiring environment in which to learn and create. Melissa is an excellent, warm and tirelessly patient teacher - her workshops are the perfect gift because they offer the experience and satisfaction of creating something beautiful and lasting.
I attended the first bracelet making workshop at Fredrick Prince and fell in love with the style and jewellery pieces they have to offer. Melissa was so kind and patient in explaining the process and about the different materials. I will definitely be attending another class!
My friend and I built custom jewelry pieces with Melissa and we both felt like it was an incredible experience. Melissa is so friendly and welcoming, and her boutique is charming and filled with really unique and amazing jewelry! She had us build our own necklaces from templates both of ours came out very different, even though we decided to use the same template! Her collection of beads and chains and other materials are high quality and she really takes to time to explain the process and help us. She also let us take plenty of time to browse and create our pieces. I highly recommend this class!

From the moment I first stepped through the door of this Dundas West boutique, I was mesmerized by the unique handcrafted pieces that adorned the shelves! The store is filled with stunning layered necklaces and bracelets made of bold semi-precious stones and chains rich in colour and texture. Melissa’s statement pieces are innovative and fashion forward, yet timeless, and her creative ingenuity really shines through her signature pieces. It is evident that Melissa loves what she does, and her appreciation for customers is unsurpassed – she made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in, and continues to do so upon every visit! Most recently, my friend and I attended a layered bracelet workshop where Melissa guided us through the process of designing and putting together our own bracelets. I enjoyed learning about the various materials and techniques that go into making one of these pieces, and Melissa was extremely knowledgeable, honest and not to mention extremely patient in the jewelry making process! She really encouraged us to be creative and use our own personal style to bring our pieces to life! I absolutely love the finished product, and am already thinking about which workshop to attend next! Whether you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind statement piece, or creating your own unique design at a jewelry workshop – a visit to Fredrick Prince is definitely a must!
I always found Fredrick Prince jewelry to be beautifully inspired. Not surprisingly, the necklace making workshop is a great class and I love the necklace I made. Materials are good quality and there is a lot of selection. Melissa is a talented designer and an amazingly patient teacher who gives her time generously and promotes such a positive learning atmosphere. Thank you so much Melissa for accommodating us!
I have done the necklace workshop twice and the experience both times has been amazing. Melissa is incredibly patient and unbelievably kind. I love my necklaces and constantly get compliments on them. I cannot recommend enough, and I will definitely be going again. Also if you don't want to make a necklace Melissa has a great selection of jewelry that she has made.
The store is beautiful and clean! The jewellery is amazing! But the workshop was incredible! Best thing I’ve ever done! To take Melissa’s great ideas and add your own touch what you like you get a beautiful personalized necklace. I would recommend the workshop to everyone!
I love Melissa’s pieces and when I found out she also hosts jewellery workshops I couldn’t wait to make my own design. I signed up for the class with three friends and she really did make the experience wonderful. She gave us the opportunity to basically create any inspiration from her shop with three templates to start with. You can customize with beadwork, findings, larger statement items, chains etc. and make anything you can dream up. She was there to take us through the process help with ideas through to building the necklace and patience was her virtue giving us ample time to each complete our designs. I love my custom piece it will definitely be enjoyed for years to come and I would love to sign up for a future workshop, it was just so wonderful. I highly, highly recommend taking a workshop with Melissa and creating your own Frederick Prince designs. Thank you!
