Friends of Embry Hills Library, INC. is a 501(c)(3) organization that was formed to support and advocate for our library in Chamblee, Georgia and the DeKalb County Library System.
Friends of the Library groups are composed of volunteers who support their local library branches. Membership is open to all. The mission of the Friends of the Library is to promote interest in, use of, and public support for the DeKalb County Public Library. Friends volunteer their time and resources to help provide high quality library services, books, and materials for their community libraries.
The Friends of the Embry Hills Library exists to support the Embry Hills Library in its efforts to engage and enrich the community by identifying and meeting specific needs of the library; offering an array of programming; and raising awareness of the library as a literary haven and information-rich environment where creativity flourishes and minds are enriched.
