Dr. Jesse T. Coats, RPh, DC, DAAPM, CCSP
Dr. Jesse Coats is a graduate of Texas Chiropractic College where he has taught student doctors for 22 years as well as conducted private practice. He is additionally a Registered Pharmacist and has practiced community pharmacy for 33 years. Dr. Coats is a graduate of Southwestern Oklahoma State University where he earned a BS degree in biology. He went on to earn his BS degree in pharmaceutical science from the University of Houston.
Dr. Coats’ current research interests include physiologic changes related to chiropractic manipulation and the effects of chiropractic care on sports performance. Dr. Coats is also interested in clinical nutritional research as it relates to chronic disease and the effects of nutritional intervention on sport performance.
Dr. Turko is a graduate of University of Texas at Austin as well as Texas Chiropractic College. She began working at Friendswood Doctors of Chiropractic while still a Chiropractic student. She became a full time Chiropractor at our office after her graduation in December of 2012.
While still in high school Dr.Turko had the opportunity to participate in a program to shadow a professional in the community. Dr.Turko was always interested in a career in the medical field but wanted to find out more about alternative medicine. She chose Dr.Coats and realized this was something she was very interested in doing as a lifetime career.
