I’ve played for Frozen Ropes for many years and it has helped me started my collegiate softball career. The coaches and staff here have always been so helpful and amazing even while working as a camp counselor here during the summer. Having the opportunity to coach younger athletes who are also pursuing a baseball/softball career is always amazing. While I’m home from college during the breaks it is always my go-to place to workout and get some extra reps in, and still receive some pointers by Tony himself or other coaches. Great facility and even greater staff!
Have been around the organization since I was a kid. Was part of the travel teams growing up. Great coaches and facilities. Without Frozen Ropes, I wouldn't have been able to become a collegiate ball player. Thank you to all the staff.
My sons went to summer camp here and I was EXTREMELY disappointed. I've also had them take instruction here and was very happy with that. However, summer camp was a huge waste of money. I honestly thought it was an instructional camp, it is anything but. The kids are divided into teams and they just play pickup games all day. There is no instruction, no intervention. As other reviewers mentioned there is a good amount of bullying, mostly because a the age range of the kids is way to wide kids are put with other kids 5-6 years older than them and b the staff don't want to get involved. This is due in no small part to the parents of the bullies being paying customers too and they don't want to lose the business. If you're going during the year for normal individual player instruction, it's a great place, it is NOT a good place for summer camp, not at all!
We have been going here for about a year now, on and off: using the tunnels, taking classes, and recently taking part in a coaching class. I feel grateful that Frozen ropes is in our community and is available for the public. The prices fair and more importantly, the team that works there is incredibly kind, patient and talented.
