Eye exams are always a breeze at FYidoctors in Dunbar. Every specialist and doctor, Dr. Khan in particular, is knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. I've never had less than an extremely positive experience. Paul Eddy, one of the opticians, is just a pure joy. Like everyone at FYidoctors, he knows what he's talking about. But his energy is infectious. Quite simply, he makes it hard not to love every moment selecting your frames.
Great place for eye exams. Dr Brooks has been checking my family's eyes for years and we've been lucky to have her. She genuinely cares for her patients Also a great place to get glasses. Paul guided me to pick out a good pair and was patient through the whole process. Wonderful service
This is just a five-star operation. In my experience, few companies/services are ever actually worth writing a review about. Either they provide precisely what they promise or they don't and cause the angry people of the world to vent their frustrations publicly. But FYIdoctors in Dunbar consistently exceeds expectations. I recently had an unrelated issue with my glasses and the absurdly fantastic Paul Eddy and the team were quick to go far and beyond to help me. The issue was resolved swiftly and with great consideration. Every person working at FYIdoctors in Dunbar, including all at the front desk and behind the scenes staff, really do make the experience worth praising and continuing to support. Well worth your time and money.
Great staff and selection of glasses! Thank you to Paul Eddy for helping me pick out my first new pair of glasses in almost 8 years and for making me feel like a valued customer! I had my appointment with Dr. Khan who is professional and caring. She is also very knowledgeable, providing thoughtful answers to all of my questions. All of the other staff I met were friendly, making me feel welcome!
I am in Vancouver for several weeks from Nova Scotia and broke my frames while here. I went to FYI and saw Paul,he was incredibly helpful and very friendly,a pleasure to deal with.He managed to get my prescription from Nova Scotia and had new glasses done and ready in less than 2 weeks!!I have to say very incredible service and prompt. I would Highly recommend Paul and Dunbar FYI!!!
While they are an upscale optometrist and eye care store, they do treat their customers well. Had a pair of glasses that completely broke and was replaced without question.
I have been a patient since they opened down the street, simply outstanding service! Sarah is very kind and patient. And Mark is a wizard with the vast selection of frames - telling you what looks good and, more importantly, what doesn't though very tactfully!. I had a blast on my last appointment, and am excited to receive my new glasses. Thanks to Dr. Brooks and the team!!
My appointment was with Dr. Kahn. I found her to be very warm and informative. She took an interest in me personally and I felt that she was fully present. And she’s funny!
We have been going to see Paul at this location of FYI for several years now. I purchased glasses for myself from here a few years ago and we go here on a yearly basis for new glasses for my son since his prescription has been changing every year. Paul is extremely knowledgeable and provides incredible customer service. He has always gone above and beyond. For example, when the store didn’t stock specific frames my son was interested in, Paul was able to source them so that my son could try them on. Paul always goes out of his way to ensure that glasses are a perfect fit for a person’s face, including spending a great deal of time adjusting the glasses as required until the fit is ”just right”. We literally drive all the way from White Rock to see Paul at this location! If you need new glasses, I highly recommend going to see Paul at this location of FYI.
