Galbraith Florist has been offering the Saint John, New Brunswick area superior floral arrangements and assortments since 1961. Because we are a small, local shop, when you choose us, you can always expect to be treated more like a family member and less like "just another customer." Our deep-rooted passion for flowers, along with our dedication to service, makes us the ideal choice for any occasion!
Back in the 1960′s our flower shop was known as “Gordon’s Flowers”. In the 70′s the name was changed to “Galbraith Florist”, and between the 70′s and 1999 it was owned by two other people and moved several times. In May 1999, I (Wendy Maber) purchased the shop and by the end of the year moved to East Saint John and started off slow in the basement my home. I felt that people had an impression that flowers were to expensive, so we started the motto “Where you always get more flowers for your dollars”. We set up a website and the store grew.
Within three years we moved to Loch Lomond Road, and added in giftware, pictures, silks and dried arrangements to our selection. In 2006 we bought a piece of land and built our own building having separate wedding and funeral rooms, so people could have a private place to go and look at pictures. In June 2007 we opened the first Drive-Thru window east of Toronto.
The shop is still learning and growing everyday, so that our customers can continue to receive the best possible service and pricing!
