Galileo Surgery Center

I have been getting some procedures done on my spine, recently I have had the pleasure of being at this surgery center about 3 times in the last 6 months. Doctor P. Is amazing, he has been attentive, he actually takes his time to hear about what I need to discuss, then configures the best way to help. The staff here are my absolute fav people they are kind, take good care of me every time I get the pleasure of being here. Chris knows his stuff and always nails my IV on the first attempt. All of the individuals working here take time with me, eye contact when talking to me, they just really care about the patients, and I always enjoy my time here. Share a laugh or two with the RNs. Yes, sometimes there is a wait, but it's worth it. They deal with people. And sometimes it takes longer then expected, but it's worth it. I do have to mention for the majority of the time they are on point with time and scheduling. I recommend this place to anyone, they are the best!!!! Looking forward to seeing them again next week.

Today, I had my second procedure performed by Dr. Carlos Untal at Galileo Surgery Center and have been extremely satisfied both times. The front desk is efficient and made it very easy to register and check in. There was a reasonable wait to be taken back both times, but not unusual for most surgery centers. The nurses in the preoperative area are very friendly, kind, caring, thorough and knowledgeable. I thin skin and usually have a lot of bruising and sometimes pain after having an IV, but both times Valerie and Hannah made the insertion procedure easy and painless without any bruising afterward. Dr. Untal and the nurse anesthetist both came for a brief visit before I was wheeled into the OR. The OR staff both times were Jonathan and a female and they were so friendly and efficient, plus they played good music! Michael, the nurse anesthetist is very competent and explains what he is going to do. When I woke up in recovery, I was attended to and greeted by a nurse this time by Brianna who took great care of me. After I got dressed, I was put into a wheelchair and rolled out to talk with Dr. Untal who explained what he had done in the OR. I was released to my husband and on my way home. Frankly, I am surprised by some of the previous negative reviews, which inspired my to share my experiences in contrast. I have also found that, even when I am in pain, it is always helpful to be nice and cooperative with the medical personnel in order to have a positive experience. I must say that I am very happy with all aspects of both of my experiences at Galileo. In addition, everything about the center is super clean and organized. I definitely recommend Galileo for pain management services.

Have been going here for about six or more years. The treatments that I have had here with Dr. Patel have been excellent! Will trust not anyone with all the issues that my body has. I have full confidence in what he does. The staff at the office and surgery center are perfection. Yes their had been hiccups in appointments, but with just cause. Thank you to all!

Don't go...they don't care...its not them getting the procedure...they're not in pain...then when they're running behind...they expect you to jump out of your seat or they tell you that if you don't...that they are moving on to the next patient....REALLY!!!....I'm paying YOU for the procedure that I'm having done...if you can't keep up with the amount of patients you have scheduled...don't schedule so many! I shouldn't have to suffer with you guys being late...and then you're rude to me...

Warning, this facility engages in bait and switch tactics regarding pricing! I had three procedures here, the staff up front ran my insurance, told me my co-pay amount and told me that was all I owed. I asked again if they were sure about that and they said yes, I even called their billing department and was told the same thing . ..fast forward 6 months and I get a bill in the mail for $XXXX. Avoid these guys at all costs!

They schedule more appointments than they can handle on time! They leave you waiting in their small cramped office area on VERY UNCOMFORTABLE CHAIRS. My back HURTS WAY MORE THAN WHEN I ARRIVED! They will give me injections to alleviate my lumbar area but now my ENTIRE BACK IS THROBBING IN PAIN BECAUSE OF ALL THE TIME THEY ARE LEAVING ME WAITING ON THEIR UNCOMFORTABLE CHAIRS! So far I have BEEN WAITING 40 MINUTES! Still more people are pouring in. I guess it's all about the $$$ for them!

This is the best surgery center I have ever visited! Although the wait was longer than expected, the staff was top notch. Enjoyed my experience here and would recommend if your condition requires their services!

I have had excellent care when having my procedures. The staff and nurses are very nice. I have been going there for almost a year for pain management. I have the best - dr Pirouz is my pain doctor. 5*****

The nurses there are always nice, They do a great job taking care of me every time I go in. I especially like Chris he is really great and always happy.

staff is very confident, doctors seem to know what they are doing. sometimes a little off on appt times but other than that a very professional run facility .
