This GameStop is the best ! I traded in my Nintendo Switch Lite and I was having some issues transferring my data and they were so helpful throughout the entire process. The workers are incredibly nice and welcoming. I highly recommend this place !
This store is one of the best GameStops I’ve been to. Not only were they incredibly patient when it came to transferring my data, taking a trade and helping sort issues, but they were so keen to help, pleasant, and just went above and beyond to make sure everything worked right. Tom & Garrett were just the most helpful people! Could not reccommend more.
Tiffany tried to sell my niece a $7 warranty for a $3 item, I declined it for my niece and she charged her anyway. I brought the receipt back and could only be refunded via gift card. This is the second time Tiffany tried pushing an unwanted warranty on us. The first being a disc warranty she automatically added without even asking on a brand new game at the West Chester location.
This GameStop has always been great. I have been fortunate when I went in to purchase games and a new system. The employees were very informative with their own gaming knowledge and experience and steered me into finding some great titles and hidden gems for me to play.
The store had two employees that took a dinner break at the same time instead of individuals breaks making customers wait a 1/2 hr for service. There is no reason for this when people expect stores to be open during their posted evening hours.
I stopped in here to buy a controller for my son for Christmas. The sticker on the box said $29.99 and when the guy rung it up it came up as $34.99 plus tax. I asked him why the price was different then the advertised price and he told me they haven't get around to changing the stickers on the boxes. I asked him to honor the advertised price and he said he couldn't/wouldn't do it. I understand its a mistake and if I hadn't already waited 15-20 minutes to be rung up I would have made it a bigger deal. The price advertised on the box should be the price paid for the product, mistake or not its the right thing to do. Horrible experience.
I visit this GameStop a lot and I've never had a bad encounter with any employee at this store. I'm usually greeted right away unless they are busy with other customers. I'm usually asked if I need help or looking for a particular item. Joe, an employee here is an awesome dude. Not only has he gone above and beyond to assist me he will often chat about game related products or games that we both share in interest in. For that reason I enjoy stopping in even if it's just to browse their selection.
This place is TERRIBLE!!! They’ll take your $200 for a controller and less than 3 months later when it breaks, you stop in to ask if they can facilitate the extended warranty posted by Microsoft due to an ongoing class action lawsuit....you get yelled at and told to deal with Microsoft. Plus the guy doesn’t even know anything about his own products that have issues...not that hard to figure out, it’s all over the internet...Bob general mgr is the rudest person ever - congrats on a great hire GameStop. Glad to know where I won’t be spending my $$ on holiday gifts this year or ever.
Friendly. Didn't treat me like I'm diseased so that's always a plus. Peddled games like nobody's business. Taught me about games I hadn't heard of. Showed me trailers. Good, patient people especially the girl with dyed hair named Katelyn I think. Give her a raise, yo. :P She's why I spent maybe 200, not 50 loll and got a subscription
I pre-ordered a couple items a couple months ago and never revived a call. so one day I go in and ask about my product they said it was on the shelves which are for anyone things off. Then I was asked to wait for four other customers to complete their transactions. Finally I got fed up and just cancelled my orders and left, I was told it was a miscommunication between store leaders. This case is obviously poor communication between the store leaders and the customer for I did not receive the phone call I was told I would receive. The gamestop is fine for a quick stop but I would not recommend it as a home store.
