One of the very best Home Hardware stores in Ontario. Well stocked, super staffed, well managed.
This as a great store well layed out. And lots of staff. I was especially impressed with Andrew who went out of his way to insure that I purchased the correct product for my need. He researched on the computer and took me to another department and talked with another staff. Kudos to you Andrew
When all the large box stores displace the smaller mom and pop hardware stores, this gem continues to surprise me. Big enough to have what I want. Small enough to give great service. Always plenty of knowledgeable staff on hand and are eager to help. From a medium appliance to an O Ring for my pressure washer, they have it all.
This is a great store to meet all of your hardware needs and more. Big or small projects. The staff are always very helpful and friendly.
Best customer service around - I went there with a list of items and they helped me find everything that I needed. All employees have been very friendly and helpful across all departments/service lines everytime visiting.
After consultation with the "experts" at Home Hardware in Gananoque, Ontario, we spent almost $5000 on a set of kitchen drawers for an island, kitchen countertops, and a countertop for the island. We were quoted a price before Christmas for the top and we prepaid everything. I wrote the price down on my receipt because nothing was listed. We understood the top was ordered with the cabinets. Apparently not, our fault for not reading the bill when we paid. We received our cabinets and countertop minus the countertop for the island. When we called to see where the top was, we were told we didn't order one. So, we reordered it because obviously if we buy an island for the kitchen, it needs a top to match the countertop that did arrive for the rest of the kitchen. We asked them to honour the quoted price and they would not. When that top finally arrived yet another month later, we were told it was ready for pickup. When we arrived, it was not ready. The ends weren't on. Plus, employees there told us it had been cut narrower than normal which they thought was weird. We were advised by the "expert" who ordered the cabinets that this was the width to go with those cabinets so we took his advice. Turns out they are half an inch too narrow. We asked them to fix that as well and they said no again as that was what we ordered. We ordered what their "expert" employee said was the proper width for the cupboards we bought from them. They were standard but the countertop he recommended was less than standard. After talking with the manager, we were told that the employee was not a liar and that we did not order the countertop, we did not get quoted a lower price, and we ordered a top too narrow. Implying we were liars and they did nothing to make it right. So much for customer service and the customer is always right. We will never shop there again and would not recommend it to anyone as they are rude, unhelpful, and incompetent. I wouldn't even give them 1 star rating!
Apparently this is the largest HHW in the country. This branch is well stocked for construction projects as well as cottage/boating lifestyle items.
I’m p****d I have to pay 60$ dollars for a delivery 1 minute down the road. Unless they’re using race gas it’s very very overpriced

Always nice to go their people are very friendly and I love the lady that paints bought one of her pieces
