We recently moved to Smiths Falls and never really had a high opinion of Home Hardware until the one in Smiths Falls. We now go there first for anything they might carry. The staff there are friendly,knowledgeable and very accommodating. So glad we found this wonderful store.

Always so many staff around to help, and always very pleasant — they never make me feel dumb or annoying when I ask silly questions.

Actually just needed to pickup a ups package. Customer service and cashier all seemed super friendly and within a timely manner addressed me to see what I needed. Later looked around, being my first time. They seem to have a great variety of products for our variety of needs, or wants.

Good prices, staff in all departments have always been very helpful and knowledgeable. From hot water tanks to Fendocks and lumber and plumbing supplies. My go to store for when I'm fixing or building things at the cottage.

Very friendly staff always willing to help you! Great experience at this site, keep up the great work! Only 4 stars because online inventory could be better but just call for product availiblity and you will get a friendly response.

called about having patio door installed at my cottage. Was a quick booking for the appointment, as they were coming to the area in a few days... great on that front. Quick response. The reason they got any stars at all. Kevin showed up on time and did the measurements needed and was out the door just as quickly. Polite and friendly. Said I should have the quote by end of day tuesday at the latest... Also added in another door I needed to get replaced. Apr 8th they were on site. Called they store to talk to Kevin on Thursday as I hadn't see the quote. Was informed that his computer had died/wasn't working, and they were coming the following week to fix it.. Called at the end of the following week was told the computer still wasn't fixed, they were coming to completely redo it the following week. You can start to see a trend here... Called again and was told they were not fished fixing it, but would be back the next day Called back again at the end of the week and was told he had a backlog, but gave me a rough price for the patio door at 1500 max. Said they couldn't do the entrance door, as it was a custom size they just couldn't get done. Fine. Also told quote would be coming. Called back today, May 19th... So 6 weeks minus a day. Was told by kevin at the window desk that it was in his pile to do, and then started saying that he may not be able to get his installers to go there as it was far 50 minutes from store according to Google Maps. And a few other reasons I won't get into. Basically wasn't interested in doing the work is how it comes across. I would NOT recommend getting them to install anything based on this experience. They may do good work, but if you cannot even be upfront, open, honest and get a quote out the door at the start of the process, i doubt it will improve.

Most rude, arrogant lumber desk ever!!! Not just one occasion, every time I go I encounter same attitude with a number of people who work at this location.
