Lovely shady spot. Nice for laying down on a blanket and de stress. Except for a barking dog in the distance it was quiet. Nice for walking after sunset
Nice big park with lots of shade trees and a great place for a picnic..
Been going to this park my whole life and now I take my kids... so clean and lots to do... hNg out with family woth the covered areas
This is the largest park in Baker City To my knowledge and has a nice variety of amenities. There is ample space for picnics, playing with kids and pets, and for strolling along the riverside or visiting the library just adjacent. The only down side is the large number of visitors and somewhat spotty parking availability... It's best to park across a street or in a parking lot and walk to the park a block or two away. Restrooms: The park appears to have public restrooms, but we have not used them. Dog-friendliness: Dogs are supposed to be kept on leashes, and picked up after. Picnic area: Lots of space for picnics, not a lot of BBQ spots.
Awesome park with lots of different play structures and toys for kids, even kids with disabilities! They have built in puzzle type toys, big toys with different textures for kids that love/need sensory experiences, sound makers, even a sign for those with speech issues to point at to communicate better! It's great for all kids! See my photos for a better idea of what I'm talking about.
Beautiful park, Very Clean. Nice play area for the kids. Great picnic spot. If traveling you can stop and watch the squirrels frolic in the trees while taking a break from the road. Picnic tables are available. There is a creek that separates the park from a library. Grab a book and lay in the green grass to read.
The library is right next to the park and the river creates a nice atmosphere. Plenty of play equipment for the kids. Love the tandem swing. It makes swinging with little much more enjoyable. Plenty of shade and benches.
We love this park! It's always our favorite pit stop on our road trip from Washington to Utah. Definitely worth pulling off the highway for if you have kids who need exercise. Playground: Very fun, accessible playground. There's something for everyone regardless of physical limitations!
Stopped by this park to let the kids run around while on a road trip. What a fantastic find. Loved the inclusion for different abilities at this park, the communication board was especially appreciated as a parent of a non verbal child. So many awesome features, my oldest like the zipline and my youngest was a big fan of the colorful shadows left of the ground from the spinny thing. I like the fact there was lots of shade provided from the many near trees so that even on a hot day I could retreat to the shade every now and then.If this wasn't a nearly 5 hr drive from home we would be regulars.
Great park with newer equipment and cool play structures. Plenty of room for everyone. Lots of shade. Restrooms.
