Geneva General Hospital

Awful, horrible. Do not go to this emergency room. There is a reason why they are 2 star hospital. Everyone is terrible!! Nurses are miserable they will do THE BARE MINIMUM for you and ignore you when you ask them questions. My nurse literally told me random stuff that the doctor didn't even bring up or have a concern about! X-ray tech was unhelpful and scared me while taking my x-rays!! I was given no medications after being diagnosed with the flu!! Doctor obviously sets a low bar for care! Absolutely no genuine care or conmon sense with anyone!! Go the extra couple miles to Thompson or Strong!!

I wouldn’t go here if I was dying. And NEVER ever send your loved one to their nursing home, please. They are inattentive and rude. I had two family members go there out of my control and the treatment was awful. They make fun of patients too.

Less than 1 star! My son had multiple ulna and radial fractures on xmas eve! You treated and streeted him that day! You sent him home with no work note and not even an ace bandage! If you have hospitalists reading xrays...you might want to Make sure they know what they are looking for! I've never been so disappointed

One star for Patient Financial Services who sent me a bill for services 22 months AFTER the date of service. Two months later I received a letter threatening to send me to a collection agency if they did not receive payment in full.

The entire staff is so kind and helpful. Emergency room visits aren't ever fun but these people make it as pleasant as possible. My doctor and RN were amazing, thorough and informative about my care. Thank you all xx

This hospital is a very toxic place to be, not a great work environment. There are so many problems that aren’t being addressed goes to show that they have no respect for anyone

They have someone working there at reception in the emergency department who has failed her drug test and psych test done by the state. She also has been in a psych ward as well. Crazy they don’t run background checks on their workers and have these people around children and vulnerable people. Kinda scary if you ask me

My 86 year old Aunt was admitted to Geneva General Hospital on Saturday, 4/16/22 and tested positive for Covid. For the record, she has had both shots and her booster shot. She has 24 hour care at her home and has dialysis 3 times each week. We were told at that time, that she would be there for several days. Yesterday - 4/18/22, we were told that, she was being discharged, and we would have get her to dialysis. She is in a wheelchair and her medical van company would not take her, as she is Covid positive and the 5 day quarantine was not over! I don't blame them for not exposing their drivers! Please note, any other time that this lady has been in the hospital, they have done the dialysis right here in Geneva!!! Her 24 hour home care staff, cannot come in until at least 4/21/22. After the 5 day quarantine! I have spoke to several people at the hospital and even the Ontario County Health Department, and have gotten no where. This lady does not need the stress from all of this. It is almost like they are trying to kill her. Just had another call, from Shelly, they are still trying to get rid of her, but are doing dialysis at Geneva. 5 DAYS ARE NOT UP FOR THE QUARANTINE. Is the hospital going to find a staff for us? NO of course not!!!! This Hospital does not care about people. The people at the Geneva General Hospital do not care about the patients, or their health. They have the attitude of stress the out and send them home sick. They have gone down hill so badly, since I was in there after my heart surgery, and pneumonia. They have gone from a 10 rating to a -0 rating! Update4-21-22

The hospital is so slow , me and my mom arrived at the hospital at 8:40 and we still havent been back to be checked ,i wouldnt recomend going i rather go somewhere i can be in an out this is rediculous .

Went for an MRI, which is in the basement. Signs direct you straight to the location. Very simple to find.
