The College of Health and Human Services prepares students to become future leaders in health care, public health, and social services.
The College of Health and Human Services prepares students to become future leaders in health care, public health, and social services with the skills necessary to solve the challenges of a rapidly changing and culturally diverse health environment. By combining research with community-engagement efforts, students receive a rigorous and relevant education, while simultaneously making a valuable contribution to the region’s health care workforce. Whether it’s global and community health, health administration and policy, nursing, nutrition and food science studies, rehabilitation science health care policy, or social work or nursing, students are active participants in improving and promoting health, both locally and globally.
CHHS has a threefold mission:
To use our knowledge and skills to educate students, both undergraduate and graduate, so they are qualified to become health and human services professionals;
To discover new knowledge through research, and;
To provide direct health and social services for community residents.
The College Of Health and Human Services is driven to serve — to help you succeed, to enrich life in your community, and to solve pressing problems.
