I've made several purchases at Giants and never had problems with prices or store agents. However, I'm concerned about the packing of my goods. Certain cashiers seem to be careless, like putting chicken and frozen popsicles together or mixing bleach with fish and laundry cleaners with food. I don't hold the store management responsible, but rather these specific cashiers who don't seem to consider others. I'm certain they wouldn't pack items like this if they were the ones shopping for themselves. Bad for business!
When I shop this location weekly early Saturday mornings it truly feels like I am with my family Tony is the best produce man. He is always helping me select the best produce and he is professional and always tells me Thanks for shopping at Giant . He goes the extra mile as well as Ms Dale at the register.. See you next Saturday morning
Giant food is a great company and their prices are extremely high at times. I like giant but some of their employees are really rude, ghetto and very disrespectful towards their customers. Giant stores sometimes smell bad but some stores are clean and they are up on their stocking
Too expensive for the spoiled seafood they hand out. I have to check now bc I've got broken mussels, spoiled scallops. Customer service is RUDE, NO HELP and no help. About 5 of us stood at the deli waiting 45minutes plus while the lady nicely took her apron off, clocked out and left right before she told us someone else supposed to be there and that she going home. You know when you sign your application u have to stay til your relief gets there or call management. Disappointing bc it was an older lady who know better. Obviously we waited bc the food at Deli is on point most times.
That's my grocery store. I love their selection especially on International foods. We love them so much, my niece even orders for delivery. I recommend them.
The current store manager is one of the best managers I’ve ever worked with she persistent effectively amazing and her employees are always protecting her name because she’s very important I’m one of her best cashiers and I really wish I was working at her store lol it’s me Markiya Davis but I work in va and her cashier work very fast and are always on point…………..I love This big store !!
Just a standard grocery run. If you're looking for the batteries and get confused by the gift cards on the "BATTERIES" endcap; they've been moved. They're located at the service counter now.
Amazing customer service! Everyone in each department was very accommodating and friendly this morning on my shopping trip. I will be contacting corporate to give a raving compliment!!! Kudos to this location. Must be great Management. It always starts at the top.
I'm not a fan. The prices are too high. I normally don't go here but was in a crunch, and it was rush hour time. The Largo location has better prices for the majority of what I want and need.
This Giant Food Store Silver Hill Rd, District Heights, MD has poor friendly customer service when checking out your purchases with the cashier. The male cashier on the evening we went, was in a very mean-attitude mood. I know this job can be challenging but why take it out on the customer. We had very little purchases and I bring my own bag and pack myself most of what was purchased. I want to support the cashier's position, but I find doing the self-checkout to be quicker, when it's up and running, and more pleasant than dealing with rude cashiers.
