I hate to give such a low review, there was a time when I didn’t have a car and this was all I had within walking distance and Save a Lot really came through. Customer service is great but I could barely shop around due to the smell of the presence of rodents. I hope this is addressed soon since so many of our community rely on this if unable to travel further distance to another option.
Didn't really notice any "Savings"!! Most item prices actually match big box stores but at least they're name brands. You may find an occasional bargain but it's not worth going only to receive bad customer service and play bumper cars with the shopping carts due to extra small aisles!!! There must be a handicap violation in there somewhere!! Don't waste your time or patients
Okay for non perishables, and it’s the only grocery option in the area so you can’t really go anywhere else without driving or taking public transportation, but I haven’t been thrilled with the quality of the fresh food.
Save A Lot is a life line for me. Why because I don't always have away to get to the other grocery stores. Plus I can walk to the store.
99 cents ATM and disbursement increments $5 will be a game changer and way cheaper than others to use. **But beware of what your own bank charges too
Awful. With so many other supermarkets in a close local, this store is unnecessary. The items I went there to obtain, are no longer available. Chicken and ribs BBQ sauce, Brigs half smokes etc. With the change in merchandise, and the fact that the prices are no better then any other store, for most items, this chain has made itself almost irrelevant. I am a Personal Chef and cater, therefore I am at ten different stores every week, this chain has all but out lived it's usefulness. Not to mention it is small, and unattractive. Poor selection. Just as poor, as always. Its sad how the people in less fortunate neighborhoods are allowed to be treated.
You have kids ,snack fruit, and other items at good prices, an alternative
The service is horrible and it's a gutto fabulous Save-A-Lot and the only one in the area so you have to go terrible service poor quality of food in a black area
This is the most disgusting Supermarket i have ever been to. The entrance has really bad produces. The whole store is extremely dirty and filthy and need to be paint. The entrance should be a welcoming place not a place that repel shoppers. The entrance is the first thing customers see and To be greeted by rotten produce is not a good sign. One of the female cashier with a low hair should be working with wild animals she very unprofessional and seem like I was disturbing her conversation with the other cashier. This store need to be close for a few days and get a make over. I know it's in a ghetto neighborhood. But please modernize it. They are too many business out there. The manager should do better on the up keep of this establishment. It's 2021 even the corner store are upgrading.
Well, it was nice. No complaints, the line wasn't to long. I actually ran in there to pick up some cheese, milk, and bread those we're the items to complete my meal that day. I went back home made some meatloaf, greens and macaroni and cheese.
