This campground was great for a quick weekend while we visited friends. A few things to note- the camp sites don't have a ton of trees, so not much cover. It's super windy by the bay, so bring sweaters! Lastly, it's right next to the city/state road commission, so it smelled STRONGLY of asphalt the entire time. That being said, the kids enjoyed the water, the bathrooms were immaculate, and we'd stay again for a quick weekend getaway.
We stayed here by chance and scored a very nice site overlooking the bay. Spacious sites, reasonably priced, friendly staff. Took one star off because of some sort of industrial complex across the street. Caught some odor once that sort of concerned me, but overall a good exp.

The restrooms are clean; the site is very nice with both shaded and sunny spots. There are some sites near the bay, at this time those sites are water & electric only ... These are mostly unshaded; we are hoping that one day the city will finish up running the sewer lines in the "lake " sites! One section which is heavily shaded plus the tent sites do not off any hookups. Good people run and take care of the campgrounds. We have been camping there for decades!
Most the sites are roomy! Looks like the pull thrus on front of us don't have a much room as our back in does. Love that there's grass! $35 a night for full hook up. Friendly staff and neat and clean! Only dpwnfall, not a lot of shade. Some sites have trees, a lot do not. Will come back for sure!
We stayed here in early May in a 40' motorhome. There were very few campers in the park. If the park was full, I think it would feel pretty crowded. However, since it wasn't full we had a site 12 with full hookups and a nice view of the water. Not every site has a sewer connection. The pads are rock, and some are rather small and close together. We had a fire pit and a picnic table. Cost was $35 per night for our site. There is a modern shower house and firewood for sale. I enjoyed the park.
This campground is the terrible place I ever been. Kids are disrespectful banging on the shower doors and saying nasty words at the play ground. I'm never coming back to this piece of garbage campground. There is no reason for kids banging on shower doors or using foul language. I never been to a campground that kids are swearing and banging on showers. Never had a bad experience like this before. And this campground isn't a 5 star campground either
Friendly staff when we called for reservation. Credit/debit card only with a square recept provided. We were in Site 28, easy to pull into with 30 foot fifth wheel. Site was level, great fire pit, electric was easy access, needed two hoses to reach water spigot. Very clean bathroom and shower house. Would definitely stay again if passing through this area.
