Don't let this City fool you. My mom, a senior citizen, lives and owns a house in Gladstone and they refuse to mail her the water bill. They always create some excuse, make it difficult, or promise to help then do nothing. Three times in two years they've turned her water off without warning for non-payment. Not because my mom can't pay but because they wont send her a bill. They see the water bill as a profit center for the City. Upgrade your system online, take payments over the phone, email ANYTHING except what you're doing now. It's so so citizen unfriendly.
I went there to ask questions regarding moving my business to an in-home office I currently lease office space in Platte County and the staff was very friendly, patient, and helpful. They gave me the forms I needed, answered questions I had about coding and ordinances, and told me what my next steps are. Thank you!
One star cause it’s required otherwise they would be on the opposite side of the scale! The water service is TERRIBLE the ladies in the office are RUDE and NEVER have answers to anything.!!!! I called and asked a few questions about the water main break and the lady transferred me because I demanded answers. I have small children and I am a paying customer therefore I want answers as to when my water will be back on. Next time before having attitude with the customer ask yourself these questions.... did you shower before going to work? Did you brush your teeth? Did you pay your water bill? GOOD I’d like to do the same in the comfort of my own home at 7am or as my husband would love to at 5am.
With all the city taxes we have to paid , between Antioch Rd and Vivion Rd are not the best roads
Completely Worthless individuals collecting paychecks and Performing Meaningless tasks to justify their Jobs.... We'd be better off If Kansas City took over Gladstone and absorbed our properties and civic municipalities.
The Gladstone Officers are absolutely the best in law enforcement! They uphold the law with integrity and keep it in place with compassion. They have always been objective and fair no matter what the situation from my personal experience. I appreciate everything they do for our community.
Just can't understand 20 dollars of water use and 60 dollars in taxes and fees? How does Kansas City include, trash, bulky pick up and recycling in the water bill taxes for less?
