Wow, what an amazing park for everyone. Very clean, nice trails, plenty of parking. I was very impressed by this park. They had basketball hoops, splash pad, a huge playground and clean outdoor restrooms. This is also a great place to just read a book in the park. I recommend this park to everyone.
Decent skatepark, more for advanced skaters than beginners. No real beginner sets, just 1 low rail. The park is more designed for BMX vs skateboarding. Concrete is a bit abrasive and not that smooth. Everything is spaced a little too far apart, and hard to get speed. Still, somewhat fun.
Just noticed that they added a disc golf course to Camera Park! It's a nice 9 hole course with cement starting pads that wrap around the park along the walking path. The holes are varying distances with a minimal amount of obstacles. The main thing to watch out for are the walkers along the path. They don't have any signs up or numbers for the holes yet but you can basically start from anywhere and circle around to where you started. I live in Glendale Heights so I'm glad to have another disc golf option closeby.
Camera park is so fun I love the new renovated park they even have a splash pad there is also events that happen, camera park is also near my moms job.
I love this park! The walking trails are great and there are plenty of options for sports fields or pavilions or picnic tables to enjoy. The play area seems very popular with kids. Plenty of parking options if you don’t live within walking distance. There is even decent lighting if you want to go around dawn or dusk.
We visit here every year for their glendale Heights fest. Love their fireworks show.
This is a really nice park. The yearly fair was going on. It attracts just about the entire town and probably a few other towns as well. I've seen people getting married in this lovely park, and there are several playgrounds for children. All in all, if you find yourself in Glendale Heights and are in a "park" kind of mood, give it a visit!
This place has 2 proper cricket grounds and a big assortment of things to do for kids.
Festival was great plenty of food rides was great lines were long for every ride but that is to be expected at any fair grounds I was very impressed with the Turkey legs it was very very very delicious I even took to home and made a dinner for the family
I go here regularly, the trail is nice and clean and perfect to take my dog for a walk. It has the most beautiful sunset and plenty of place to do a picnic and great park for kids to play
