The Gadsden Museum of Art is a creative, crisp, supportive space for visual and performance artists, conveniently located on Broad Street, in the historic business district of the "City of Champions." Host to multiple exhibitions throughout the year, GMA showcases a wide variety of artists and their work, e.g. two dimensional work, sculpture, textiles, digital media, ceramics, etc. Attached are photographs of an exhibit by Sheri Shumacher, an Alabama artist and former architecture professor and someone I greatly admire.
It was great! Beautiful artwork and awesome jazz. A good night was had by all
Had an event upstairs.....beautiful venue Wonderful time by everyone!!
GO...this is a Wonderful Place. It's also within walking distance of eateries and imbiberies. Just give it a shot. This place is Both art And History, Both upstairs and down. Also, please do them a favor and sign the guest register and give the a good review if you enjoy the venue!!
Wonderful experience. We took a home school outing with our children to the Gadsden museum of art and had an extraordinary time. The children were so interested in all the exhibits
This is a great little place to see the history of the town in miniature form, specifically how it was as an old train town years ago. I spent about 2 hours just admiring the modern art in the newer exhibits and learning about the history of the museum itself in another other exhibit. This was a great place to visit in order to experience the old and new culture Gadsden has to offer.

Serendipity in the middle is worth the trip. Very quiet place to hang out with free WIFI. Art, dance classes, children's museum and exhibits. You can also rent out for a wedding. Keep it local and check the vendors. Support the arts and donate please!!!! $ cheap hangout
Oh my the hostility that we were given when we went was impeccable! Me & another parent was waiting outside on our group to arrive for a fieldtrip. One of the male workers noticed we had been standing there & invited us in out of the heat. He also gave us a synopsis of what to expect and that if we'd like we could look around while we waited!! The girls enjoyed themselves. The quilt bingo was a great hit! The charcoal drawings allowed them to express their vision on paper as a keepsake! Thanks for the amazing time!
