The Gadsden Art Center was well worth the short drive from Tallahassee. As a retired 1st grade teacher, my wife loved the Little Golden Books art display. I enjoyed that, but liked some of the displays in other galleries even more.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot surePrice for adult entry$16–20
Decided to visit 'Gadsden Arts Center & Museum'. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. I was very impressed with all of the art on display. Brittney was a GEM welcoming us, directing us, educating us and providing details of exhibits. Impressed with the activities for kids. The Gift Shop was stocked with some very nice items. Glad to have this Center in our County. Come to see what Quincy has to offer. Pleasant experience. Will return...
We enjoyed a delicious luncheon and a delightful talk about the Golden Legacy. The Curator Ashley made the topic come alive for us. It was amazing. The staff are wonderful! There are so many exhibits to enjoy. Gadsden Art Museum is a MUST SEE!
We had an amazing experience at the Artzone event, today! They had table set up with different art activities for kids, and it was a lot of fun. They gave out FREE art kits, and the kids got to do a scavenger hunt through the Museum. It was a lovely family event and we had a lot of fun!
A hidden gem for the arts in the downtown Quincy. The gallery rooms have been created out of the old Bell and Bates building and are a great space for viewing the rotation art exhibits. The are a few historic relics from the building former days. There are studios on site for created art with a changing selecting of styles, methods and mediums with a guide to show you the craft. There are also scheduled readings for kids.
Such a neat space! Loved the Golden Books exhibit. First Saturday of the month is free which is awesome!Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entryFree
Had great time visiting this exceptional art center. Perfect for all ages. Staff and volunteers work diligently to make this a high class center.
This is the premiere museum of the greater Tallahassee region. The extraordinary staff manages to obtain and curate a large variety of exhibitions. These emphasize vernacular artists, i.e. self-taught but very accomplished persons, but also includes some of the greatest American artists and photographers. Its Art guild includes extraordinary talent from a wide regional arc. It is always worth the trip to Quincy, a very pleasant small, friendly, and green county seat.
A little gem in Quincy. Highly recommend a visit. Courteous and friendly volunteers. Great little gift shop. So glad our community has this arts center. Facilities are accessible for mobility impaired. Exhibits include national and local artists.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$1–5
North Florida has a lack of quality art museums. Went to see the alex ross show, while it was far from perfect its nice to see art in the local area that isn't the sort of dreck squirted out by the FSU art department.
