The Morgan County African-American Museum is an institution dedicated to preserving African-American heritage and promoting awareness of the contributions the African-American has made to the culture of the South.
The Morgan County African American Museum (MCAAM) was founded in 1993 as a non profit organization. Our mission is to research, collect, celebrate and preserve the history and art of African American Culture. We are housed in the old Horace Moore cottage, that was donated by Rev. Alfred Murray and moved to its currant location at 156 Academy Street in Historic Madison, GA.
