Golden Gate Funeral Home

I have not had time to send a remark in regards to this funeral home. My mother past on Jan 2 2023 and this was by far the toughest time I have had in my life, and that is losing my precious mother. This funeral home was so tentative to me and my family I can't explain how thankful I am for them, I'm not good with names but I did remember Kevin as one of the persons helping us. He kept his cool with us when all hell broke loose in regards to who the Beneficiary was, at the end of the day he kept his cool once he found out what was going on with me and my sisters. Can't tell the whole story but just know these people right here, are trained I believe to handle anything. Long story short they got us through it with GRACE!!! and I would recommend them to whomever is going to need this type of service in the near future.... Oh someone else said they wish they could give 10 stars, so do I so the 5 I selected add as many more as you can to those 100%

They took such loving care to make sure we had the best services possible for my mother. Kevi was a rockstar and stayed on top of everything. Golden gate has taken care of both my brother and my mother and we have been in great hands on both occasions. Bless the work that you all do.

We recently used the Fort Worth location for my son's funeral services. Basically, we were pleased, but there were a few hitches with our services. Let me say first that Tamara Massey is the best staff they have there. We planned or services with Mr. Hill, a funeral director, usually works out of the Dallas location, and he didn't seem totally familiar with the process. Review your program thoroughly before printing because they can't make any revisions after you've approved it. Some of our pictures didn't turn out well. They really need to have someone assisting families with the programs. Families are very distraught at this time, and with the large amount of money you're paying, they could help more with this part. Otherwise, we were basically happy.

Hi everyone! My husband passed away 9/5/22 at the hospital and Golden Gate picked him up. I was nervous about how he would look for the funeral and how Golden Gate would treat me. I wish I could give this review 10 stars. I spoke with Kevi and the minute I met with her she made me feel so much better this young lady knows her job, she’s super professional she assured me that my husband would look the same and she had so much patience with me. She was ALWAYS professional helped out in so many ways made his obituary look perfect. And when I seen my husband he looked exactly the same. I truly thank God for Kevi and the other staff members. They did an amazing job. I would recommend Golden Gate to everyone. Not one thing went wrong it was a perfect experience thank you Kevi for everything

My mother died 2-16-21. We paid for a cremation on 2-18-21. A month later, my mother still has not been cremated. All they can offer are excuses. My cousins body wasn't ready for the wake. They have terrible service and show no empathy or compassion. They keep giving us the run around about why it hasn't been done. The person in charge of cremations told us they were cremating her on 3-13-21 so we got our minds together to prepare for it, but we never got the call that it had been done, nor did we get an apology for it not being done. It's been an emotional rollercoaster dealing with this company. I would name one name in particular who has been the most unprofessional. I would not recommend them to bury anyone you loved.

My son was cremated last year they gave me the run-round over and over regarding his cremation. It took almost 2 months for me to receive my son. My ex-husband had to go up there he was very angry they didn't want him to return back so they called me, I was to hurt to even be upset i just wanted my son i started to open the box just to make sure but my family told me not to so i really don't even know if anything is even in the case. :- Sometimes i just sit an look at the case wondering.

We had my brothers funeral service here. They were extremely professional, polite, and didn’t price hop on us at all! They put together the best slide show. We can’t say thank you enough!

Their thieves, I was suppose to get some of my brothers ashes, was told to bring a Urn which I did what I got was a tiny Urn with just a portion of my brother's ashes for my Mom, I paid 100. For a package that only cost 8. 54 to send to me everything I called I got the run around ,then I thought it was settled and that 75. Would be returned to me I have not seen a check thats supposed to be mailed to me. So yea their thieves. They don't deserve a star.

This place has completely traumatized me. I can’t even grieve the loss of my father because of them. Never have I ever experienced the amount disrespect and lack of empathy this company has displayed. Every single thing that could have gone wrong went wrong. There was no director on the day of my fathers service, the pastor had to use his phone to play music, they messed up the programs even after numerous emails, texts and phone calls. They had the wrong date that my father passed on listed on the programs and dvd, I never received plants that were sent to our family nor were they put out at the service, I reached out to the manager by email multiple times and he finally called back and stated that he would speak with someone higher up and contact me back regarding refund and receiving the correct obituary but it has been 3 weeks and still nothing. I never even received my fathers death certificates that I paid for through them and now have to go through the court system

Horrible horrible horrible . Traumatized after going to this place . They took months to cremate my poor father , there is no excuse in the book that would make me forgive these people . Who knows if I even have my poor dads ashes or just dirt. They deserve negative stars . This happened in 2020 and I relive this experience daily and will until I die . Shame shame shame on you people
