I love that they decorated the Tree house, that they have free WiFi access in the parking lot, they don't require a reservation like my local library does in Middlebury. This library also has specific times for the elderly due to COVID and have limited capacity.
Awesome library. Very clean and quiet. Excellent selection of books. If they don't have what you are looking for you can put it on hold and it'll be brought to the Goshen Library the next day.

I went in without a library card and picked all my books thinking I would just get a card after. I went to get a card and they said that since I didn’t live in goshen township that I would have to pay 58 dollars for a library card! So I just said never mind and gave them the books. I think it is because we don’t pay taxes to their library but all of my family works in goshen so that does not make sense. They watched us rip a book out of my nieces hands as she’s crying because she wanted the book and all they can do is charge me $58. I’m not made of money.
Everyone is very pleasant and helpful. Good programs. Can adults read to the greyhounds too? . Finally joining the tech age. Reference desk told us how to download Hoopla and Libby on our phone. Going to be a great train trip and no carsickness lol

This is a wonderful place to find books, study, and learn. The staff are usually friendly and helpful. They have a great selection of books and if they don't have what you're looking for they can bring it in from one of the Elkhart libraries. I really enjoy their book sales as well. Buying books and donating to the library at the same time is really nice.
Teen cafe every a Thursday is a great way to make friends and build community. A better way to look for books would be nice. Everyone's super friendly and there are great events
My kids enjoy coming over, extremely friendly staff :
GPL has a phenomenal selection of books, and other media. If they don't have it, the librarians will often purchase it or get it on loan for you. The environment is comfortable and inviting, with books arranged in logical areas. The children's section and meeting room are located in the basement, accessible by stairs or an elevator. Computers are available for 15 minutes or an hour signup, with printers connected. The resource librarian is helpful with employment searches, and any other kind of information search you are trying to do. Self check-out is available with a PIN or the librarian will assist you. It is easy to put books on hold electronically and the library will call you when they are in, and give you the time of availability. Children's programming is great, with movie events, themed events, reading clubs, story times, reading challenges, and so on. Used books are always available for purchase in the front lobby. It's a great place to visit and to hang out, and I'm glad we live only three blocks away!
