The Olive G Pettis Memorial Library is a small public library supported by a percentage of the tax revenue from the Town of Goshen, NH.
Originally incorporated in 1803 as the Goshen Social Library, superseded by the Congregational and Baptist churches 'Sunday School libraries', the present institution began to manifest in 1890.
After several changes in location around the Town, a site was purchased and the present building constructed and opened in 1908. Additions, updates and improvements through the years have created a comfortable and welcoming village library environment.
Free access to contemporary technology, digital information and traditional library resources as well as numerous enrichment programming for all ages has kept the Library a center of culture and education.
