Update: the pool will be open mon-sat from 1pm to 4pm with a $2 admission.. I like this park it's close to the house and the kids enjoy it. The water fountain opens from 11am to 4pm . And the swimming pool should be opening some time mid June. I would also do a small album listening party here.
My son absolutely loved this park with all the things to do. A super nice gated pool and splashpad he spent about 45 minutes in lol. They also have a sandy toddler play area and musical flowers. Awesome park for the family!
Lots and lots of things to do both for the kids and the kids at heart. Picnic tables, auditorium, swimming pool?, art centerpiece with old style lightposts, swings, musical instruments, small restrooms. Some of the events held at the park aren't for everyone but most are. That's why Modesto holds a lot of activities there. There's tennis courts closer to Doctors Hospital side of town.
This used to be a really nice park. I took my grandkids there today to see if the water park was opened and it was but there's so many bums that are allowed to hang out around the kids area and in the freaking bathrooms, it is pathetic.
Nice place to relax and watch the children play.
One of the safest park in Modesto!.The park is very clean and bathroom also that's a plus for everyone that come to the park Also it has a tennis courts and playground for kids. It's a nice park for birthday or any special occasion.
Unless there is an organized event, not a place i would visit. Now if you need to score some opiates an get loaded right out in plain view an not get busted , its the place to be. Just keep your stuff close to you when you nod off or you wont have it when you come back.
Had a great time last night at Concert in the park! Great fun and family atmosphere! Highly recommend it for something to do on a Thursday summer evening!
Twelve new permanent pickleball courts, with space far enough apart to walk between them during games and room for seating inside the courts. There is plenty of parking available—large trees and shaded areas, plus a water fountain next to the courts and public restrooms. Skill levels range from beginner to advanced. Drop-in play is available, but some groups sign up on Playtime Scheduler for round-robin play based on skill level. Competitive round-robin playing times for 3.5 to 5 skill levels are 8:30 am - 12 pm Tuesdays and Thursdays. Saturday is dedicated to drop-in play, and skill levels are beginner to intermediate on courts 1-6 and intermediate to advanced on courts 7-12. A few challenge courts are available on the last four courts, 9-12, depending on the demand. Balls are available in a locked box on the courts. Keys to the box are available by contacting a Central Valley Pickleball Club member.
Such a great playground... lots of homeless people at nearby tables but they keep to themselves. I love the trees the playground is build around and how they have a music area and sandbox area for younger kiddos
