Love this library. It’s a great place to meet friends and the book selection is amazing.
Great branch. They seem to order more small press books than other branches.
Glad they have reopened. This library is active and offers more than just books. There are information programs for adults. Their children's programs are very popular too. I have to mention how good the staff at this location is. Whether running the programs, or helping you find a book, they are all very courteous, friendly and knowledgeable.
I haven't been to the library for several years, well at least not to use their computers to get on the internet. I was like a fish out of water and I guess I was giving off that vibe loud and clear. Of course you're not supposed to be loud in the library. Lol. The lady working the circulation was a true angel as she assisted me with printing the forms that I needed and loaning me twenty cents to print my two pages. She assisted me with setting up an account using my debit card so in the future if I needed to print something I would be able to use the credit on my account. I am definitely giving Mauldin Library fives .
The self checkout is so easy. I put things on hold and I just go in and collect what I've got on hold off of the shelf and then take it to the machine and it does the rest. I'm in and out in less than 5 minutes
Its a small, cozy library with friendly staff and comfortable chairs near the windows. All GVL libraries are still reeling from tight Covid restrictions so the new releases book shelves immediately to your right upon entry are empty but hopefully things will get back to normal soon.
The Mauldin Public Library is my favorite library. The Librarians have ALWAYS been helpful, courteous and knowledgeable in the 14 years that I have lived in South Carolina and been a Patron. I know some by first names Michael and Michael; also Mona, who has retired. It is always a pleasure to stop in, pick up books that I've requested. I take children there to get books, and have fun. I visit other libraries in the System, but Mauldin, to me, stands out. Kudos to Greenville County Library System for the the great work that you do for our communities.
Friendly workers and a good selection of books. Kiddie corner in the back and there's always free useful classes being offered. Love this place for any age.
