GPL holds a collection of over 100,000 books, movies, and audio recordings. GPL retains many of its original, architectural attributes from 1903.
The Greenville Public Library's purpose is to provide materials and services for the recreational, social, informational and education needs of our community. The goal is to know and serve, with special emphasis on providing popular materials, stimulating children's reading habits, offering reference service and supporting the formal and continuing education of both students and adults.
