Grey Shingles Camp was amazing! The cabins were cozy and the grounds were absolutely perfect. Lots of amenities for families, both indoor and outdoor. We had to cut our stay short by a day due to travel and Robin was so kind and understanding. I cannot recommend this venue more highly. A must-stay if you’re planning on traveling to Wolfeboro or the greater lakes region.
Will we come back again? Yes. Will we miss our hosts after our time here? Yes. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Grey Shingles Camps. Nice cabins. Plenty of kayaks. Lots of lawn games. Fun rec hall.
We just enjoyed our first visit at Grey Shingles. We came with the expectation of relaxing while we watched our babies enjoy the great outdoors. Our expectations were blown out of the water. Rich & Robin have just about everything you could imagine to keep both the adults & children entertained and relaxed. The grounds are stunning and kept to perfection, the cabins are pristine. They welcomed us and made us feel right at home. Not only will we be back next year, as soon as we got in the car to leave we discussed trying to fit one more visit in this year. It will be our destination every summer raising our children and escaping. Thank you Rich & Robin, you guys have created a gem.
Celebrated the 1year Wedding Anniversary for my niece and her husband. This place is rustic but elegant. Lots of things to do. Nice views too
Perfect location, close to town, but far enough out for peace and quiet. Great amenities in the rec hall and down by the lake. Our hosts were readily available but not intrusive. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. Our new favorite place for a long weekend getaway!!
Amazing people, very nice and respectable, They treat anyone with open arms, and will help with your needs. I am thankful for them letting me go there and fish, and gladly go back again.
Beautiful cabins that are exquisitely decorated! The property has access to the lake within a short walk from one’s cabin. It is truly worth the visit when in this area. Thank you Robin and Rich. We hope to be back again in a future year to come!
We just came home from our second stay and it was just as great as the first. We look forward to making an annual trip to visit grey shingles and experience all it has to offer. The cabins are clean and comfortable and provide all the necessities.Rooms: 5/5
Excellent place to stay. The cabins are very cute and the scenery is gorgeous. Spend your day hiking, paddling the pond, our exploring wolfeboro. You will not be disappointed
The perfect spot for a low key, family oriented vacation. While you're convenient to Wolfeboro 5 minutes down the road, there's no reason to leave the camp. There is that much to do there! We arrived at night but Rich and Robin, the owners, met us and golf carted our belongings to ou quarters. Robin and Rich were the perfect hosts - warm and knowledgeable. There was a campfire with s'mores one evening for the guests that they hosted. The rest of the vacation we saw them for a wave or hi - they were available if needed but gave their guests space and privacy. They've perfected the difficult balance of being helpful but unobtrusive. Our cabin was perfectly appointed and surprisingly spacious. The main bunk? house was charmingly decorated with a large, fully functional kitchen. Just bring your own groceries! Rust Pond is a 2 minute walk down a small path and is large, clean and lovely. I wish this had been open when we had small children! When the kids get tired and grouchy, you're home in 5 minutes. My husband and I traveled alone this summer but have already reserved a larger cabin next year because we want our children to see how magical Grey Shingles is. And we're staying longer! It is truly a magical place, an oasis in an increasingly hectic world. We're already counting the days to next summer!
