A beautiful park with a beautiful view. Nice clean beach too.
So clean, so beautiful! This is one of the best state parks in the area! I almost don't want to leave a review because it's the best kept secret!! Even the bathrooms are great!
Every time I go to this beach I find glass in the rocks and sand. We get leaches swimming here. Nice view, with sunny and shady areas with picnic tables, Charcole BBQ grills and decent bathrooms. The staff here is extremely friendly and helpful.
Small sand and grass beach mostly grass. You can find a space in the sun or in the shade. No lifeguard on duty. Tubes allowed. Public restrooms. You need to get an online reservation to visit to keep social distancing, COVID-19.
Very nice, and clean including the lake itself. I'm definitely planning on returning to this beach in the future!!
Beautiful place. A bit less crowded than other NH State Parks I've been to. Seems to be popular with kayakers. Saw a baby snapping turtle there today.
The water is delightful, restroom & changing room is clean! Friendly staff!
Can't say enough about this little gem tucked in alongside a scenic road. Small enough that it really can't get too crowded. Very very friendly staff. Changing rooms. Bathrooms. A couple of porta potties. BBQ pits available. Handicap tables such that one end of MOST of the tables will allow wheelchair access. A beautiful lake. Clean water. Kayak access. A couple of outside water spigots. Just be really careful about the slide in the afternoon. The kids say it's so hot it'll toast your buns.
Great place to take your family. Definitely keeps the kids entertained. The water here is super clean. I came on the 4th of July and it was about 90 degrees and the water was nice and warm. I will definitely take the hour and a half ride back here again someday soon.
I'll be heading there again soon! Bath house, picnic tables, convenient parking, grills, swimming, paddle boat launches, plenty of shade with a sunny swimming area.
