Guitar Center

I've been standing here for 15 minutes ALONE. I tried to get some assistance, but I'm being ignored. There are 3 customers in the store. I was the 2nd one. FInd a different store if service is a desired part of your shopping experience If it wasn't for asocciate J.D. , I'd still be waiting.

The company itself stands for nothing. I’ve had many friends quit this slum of a job. The people who run this company move dastardly, cutting commissions, bonuses, and pay in order to fill their already full bellies. There is one manager specifically who is an absolute dullard, she needs to be retrained on how to effectively communicate with customers and employees. Furthermore, there are prejudice comments that occur in this store as well. There’s no hope for a company with no morals, virtues, or true vision.

Do not get lessons from this place. I had a 60 minute lesson during which the teacher never asked me to even tune my guitar, nor did he do any practice exercises with me. He just played around on his guitar for the entire lesson. I emailed and asked for a refund, which I never received. And then I was charged an additional $95 for four more lessons. I am still trying to get a refund for both, but so far I have lost out on $190 for nothing. Worst guitar lessons and service ever.

My boyfriend went in and tried out a guitar that has many issues. These issues caused funky noises and he was trying to troubleshoot it. My boyfriend knew there were issues with it because he works in Music Store buying and selling used guitars. The worker rudely came over and tried to kick him out because he was making too much noise. He tried calmly explaining that the guitar was messed up and that was causing the funky noises. He said “we do not take care of our used guitars” … so do not buy anything used.

I recently drove to the Toledo store to check out a vintage Guild bass. The crew really took the time to make sure I was completely satisfied with the bass by helping with a quick setup and making sure that I was happy with the instrument. The respect and total service I received was second to none. Thank you Toledo crew. I love the bass!!

Do not go to guitar center to sell your stuff even if it was the last place on earth. I tried to sell them my Eastman Ac222ce and the employee was rude and careless, they tried to lowball me.. 200 for a 769 dollar guitar. They are worse than Game stop. They should sell lube too since they are already bending me over.

Great store with a big selection. The staff are always very helpful. Purchased a ukulele for my husband they did not have it in stock but did order it from another store. If you go during their busy time it's really noisy.

We made 2 separate 200$ purchases in past month. Both times customer service was lacking ESPECIALLY by managers and they push over priced warranties.

Horrible communication from the staff. I was informed to come in on a Saturday for a free lesson at 1:00 and when I got there, they told me that was for guitar and not drums-the drum instructor left at 12:00. no credit for the free lesson I also called to cancel an appointment over the phone spoke to Courtney he said okay and a week later was charged for additional sessions. I called to ask why I was charged and they told me I did not cancel in writing. That would have been nice to know before the charge. I will be doing all my shopping at Sweetwater from now on.
